I was curious as to the Magic's upcoming schedule now that she in on her way back to Miami. For those that may be interested

Arrive at Port Miami: Sat Oct 16th

According to the Port Miami dock schedule, she leaves on a 2-night sailing (17-19), I assume this is the CDC Test Cruise. Leaves again on a 3-night sailing (21-24), most likely a cast member cruise.

Then it gets a bit confusing. She is on the dock schedule as ported in Miami from the 24-28 when she leaves for her 1st US sailing back but I also see her on the Castaway schedule on Oct 26th.

And then the 28th, she's off to the races!

The October 21 cruise was supposed to be the first cruise with regular guests. We were supposed to be on it. So I assume that is a cast member cruise now. Perhaps they’re doing two of them which would account for the stop at CC.

Someone on another thread recently pointed out that the port schedules weren't completely accurate for fall for other ships, either. Makes sense with all the changes.

The webcam now require a subscription. It let me watch for a few seconds then shuts down

I have never had it ask for a subscription. I was watching for almost 30 min

So weird....it keeps kicking me off saying I need a subscription.

Update: I read some more under the FAQ's and it had to do with my ad blocker.....the streaming will turn off after 10 seconds if you have an ad blocker and will then display two subscription services for the webcam that you can buy for ad free viewing.

I turned off ad blocking for that site and it is now working fine.

If you have an ad blocker, it forces you to make them an exception or it cuts you off. Once I did, I could watch for an extended amount of time and of course 50 ads filled the page.

And she's back in Miami. A nice short 2-day test cruise. I haven't heard anything or seen any posts about it, hopefully all went well.

it wasn’t a test cruise, they have that starting on 21st I think it is and have an inspection today

The sailing that just came back was the 2-day "CDC" Test cruise, same as they did for the Dream and Fantasy. She went straight to Castaway and back.

On the 21st they leave again for a 3-day Cast Member Preview Cruise. That is not a CDC test cruise and is not required by the CDC, it is Disney being Disney and testing everything. The CDC test cruise must be 18+, but the preview cruises are used to make sure everything including kids clubs go smoothly.

thanks for the clarification, I saw a cast member refer to the 21st one as a test and not 100% how the cdc stuff works as so different to here in the UK
