The Magic matters > extra trip

This was the first time in over a decade we went to WDW twice in a calendar year.

There was a mix-up upon checking in and it was handled efficiently.

During the conversation I was asked about celebrations. We were indeed celebrating two events: My actual birthday and a new engagement.

The next day after returning from the parks were TWO GIFT BAGS + a photo from Mickey Mouse. This cynical DVC veteran was shocked to tears. IMAGINE, WDW was celebrating with us! Our guests were overwhelmed.

Now we are going back in December (1st time seeing the Christmas decorations) for my DH's birthday (no, we do not expect anything; what happened was once in a lifetime) - it's a surprise for him.

3 trips in the same calendar year!

The Magic made me do it ;-)

That's how they get ya I totally agree - they have service unlike anywhere else. Yes it has gone down a bit, but it has every where! Every time I go anywhere else, I always laugh with my DH and say - This isn't Disney

We were just there for my DS6 bday. They sent up balloons, cake and a card. It was very sweet!

Enjoy Christmas - I love it at Christmas and can't wait to go again someday

How wonderful!!! I am going back for my third trip in 12 months (not the same calendar year though) in November and can't wait - never been that many times in that time period before. I feel so fortunate to be able to do this. I had an extra mother/daughter trip this spring to visit my DD who was working as a CM for 4 months. In the future, I hope that we will be able to go twice a year some years, but it may not always work out. But, in the meantime, I will be enjoying this next trip even more since it is our first "adult only" trip!!!
