I found an old Magic Kingdom Club Disneyland "passport" ticket from the early 1980s. Back then they were just starting the all day passes for MKC, and were still using ticket books, too. The all day pass was $11.00 and you had to show the passport for every ride (or pin it to your shirt)
The company that my dad worked for offered MKC and Disney Club to its employees. I remember my parents using the discounts until it disbanded in the early 2000s.
Awwww, sweet memory. My mom had joined the Magic Kingdom Club and was so thrilled to gift us Magic Key ticket books. We felt so special and fortunate!
(Miss you, Mom!)
I was a MKC member in the 80s until it folded. I still have some MKC luggage tags, a MKC bag, and some other goodies like a membership card. It seemed like a good deal at the time, I think it was something like $15 a year to join as an individual.

There were some pretty good deals for being a member. I never worked at a place that offered it but just paid out of pocket for an individual membership.
I also really liked the MKC.
They said to watch for another exciting opportunity... that wound up being the Disney Visa
(which results in very little benefit to DVC members)
