Hey, all... thanks for you input! We are heading down in October while Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party is going on. We are NOT going to the party. So, here's my question:

Do I go the Magic Kingdom on a 9-9 day when there is no party? or, do I go on a 9-7 day when the party is scheduled for that night? I thought it might actually be quieter the day of the party, as people show up late afternoon...

Your thoughts?

On party days it is mixed but possibly lighter until 4pm when party goers can enter. If you go with the 9-7 option then book a meal at either Narcoose's or California Grill and watch Hallowishes from there. It is hands down the best fireworks show and will also make you feel like your MK day was extended a little.

Oh, I like that idea. What time do the fireworks usually happen?

I believe it isn't until 10pm so you could book an 8pm or 8:30 slot for dinner at either restaurant and have a leisurely dinner before the fireworks and also take in the electrical water pagent as it crosses the lagoon. Nacoosee's is from water level across the 7 seas lagoon and California grill is right up on the MK and like 15 stories up. Both offer a unique experience to the show.
