Just got home from our 10th trip (and our first during spring break). Crowds were very manageable, FP+ worked great for us, magic bands were convenient and worked perfectly, cast members were still friendly. Don't let all the negative stuff on these boards scare you!!

Highlight of the trip was the Marceline to MK tour. So cool to go "behind the scenes" at Haunted Mansion.

Best meals were Tusker House and San Angel. Worst dinner by far was Be Our Guest, but still glad we went there because it's awesome inside!

Pick a good week, have a plan and ENJOY!

:thumbsup2

Awesome to hear although I never worried it would be any different for us.

Would love to hear more about the tour! I don't think I've ever heard anything about this one but behind the scenes at HM sounds awesome!

Hey! Your post could have been written by me!! (Except the meal at Tusker House, I've never been!)

We had no issues with FP+, loved the magic bands and didn't really think BOG was all that great!

Glad you had a great trip! Stay positive!

Glad to hear your trip was awesome, BUT, I would love to hear more about the tour. My husband and I have a trip planned for a short weekend without our kids and we were wondering how this tour would fair?

It sounds interesting to both of us but we are torn between this tour, keys to the kingdom, and the animal kingdom one. So any help making a decision would be appreciated!

The Marceline tour focuses on Walt Disney's life and inspiration. Started out on Main Street discussing Walt's early life. Then over to Haunted Mansion where we rode along with our tour guide while he narrated through our ear pieces and pointed out all sorts of interesting things. Next we went behind the scenes to see the magic behind the ballroom scene. Cut the line and rode Winnie the Pooh and then over to Carousel of Progress where we had a private theater with our tour guide and he again narrated in our ear pieces.

Took about three hours and you get to enter MK before the park opens so it's a good chance to take some "almost empty" MK pictures. Cameras were allowed except during the behind the scenes portion. Well worth the time and reasonable at $30 per person.

I've done that tour, too:thumbsup2.
Thanks for a positive view.

I'm at the place now where I don't even open a negative thread. Well....I try not to;)

Thanks so much for taking time to reply. I think we might do this one, it sounds like a good day for us.

MK to Marcelene would be impossible to get if they called it "HM Behind The Ballroom Scene.' This was an A+ tour for us. We've also done the KTTK tour which was awesome. Anyone who truly loves Disney would love these tours.:earsboy:
