I know I'm planning on it! It wouldn't be a real WBTA without you guys at dinner!!

Unfortunately we may not be doing this cruise after all .... which is a big disappointment as we had such a great time on the last two WBTA and we have so many lovely friends on this one.

My problem is that it was supposed to be a family cruise celebrating a significant birthday .... now two of the kids have applied to work in WDW in 2014, one on the summer programme and one on the Cultural Rep Programme for a year in Epcot. It is a great opportunity for them and I will be really happy if they get to go but everything hinges now on if and when they get in. If they do get in ... we will have to go to Orlando to visit them instead of doing this cruise. The timing will likely be wrong for doing this cruise, but I am keeping my deposits on until we know for sure .... which will probably be in early 2014.

On a positive note I still have the EBTA in May to look forward to

Bummer! I'll miss seeing you and Tony again and was looking forward to meeting the kids (outside their pictures!!).

I do, however, hope they are accepted into the programs they both want. I'm sure it will be exciting for them and you have a built in excuse to visit them at WDW!!! My niece did an eigth month stint through the college program years ago and I know my sister made several trips down during that time (we're a lot closer so it's easier - kind of like if your kids were at DL Paris). We had a lot of fun with her in the program (she was "friends" with Chip and Dale).

I do wish it were closer. A year will be a long time. Taryn did the 3 month college programme in 2011 so at least she knows what to expect. If she does the year programme she can audition when she is there for dancing and other roles and it is her dream to be friends with Alice in the UK Pavilion.

There will be lots more cruises in our future I am sure.

Great for your kids, not for us.
But your right to go to your kids instead of the cruise. I know you would be liked to do both, but that's not possible with work.
I couldn't do that either.
But I shall miss you.
