I was thinking about group t-shirts for the cruise, not shuffleboard specific, sorry I wasn't more specific.

I must have missed the posting about the polos and sweatshirts for the 2014 TA. I saw them on the 2013EBTA and they were lovely.

I just thought some might like t-shirts with the group logo for the group and cruise, especially since there were no 2013 DCL TA merchandise. If not, that's ok - no problem - sorry I mentioned it.

One of the activity organizers designed a t-shirt for the activity and arranged for all of us to purchase it from the website where he purchased his. Not sure how he did that, but that might be an option. If you want, I'll see if I can find out how he did it.

Also another idea that worked well on previous transatlantics was several designs that people could choose from and then get their own shirts printed so that it wasn't all left down to one person.

Everyone has a different preference for clothing items etc, so several choices will definitely be the way to go

I think it would be great to be able to have other options for ordering, and to be able to online. Would basically mean everyone gets to have what they want, with the design remaining the same.

Pat, that was me, as you know, for the pub crawl. I tried to get customink.com to do them but they wouldn't touch them with the Disney artwork incorporated into the design. Luckily I have a bunch of graphic designer friends that hooked me up with a local screen printer that would do it and get me an even better deal than I was finding online.

I had to ship each person's t-shirt individually prior to cruise, which was about $5 each. Because of cost, I only shipped to those in the US, as everyone wants WAY too much to ship internationally anymore.

Would just like to add that although people are saying this is a free and impartial board, the bottom line is that it is a board owned and run by a travel agency. As much as some of you hate to admit, you are bound by their rules. Please stick to them, or don't and leave. You have the choice.

Once again this is de-generating into personal attacks on individual cruisers and it is that which these days sadly keeps me away from this board.

I don't think the actions of the webmasters is down to any individual cruisers from this thread at all .. it is usually just down to the rules and regulations of the DIS that they don't allow competition from other travel agents in any way ... end of. My own TA is not permitted to post on the DIS or be mentioned in posts and the same rule applies to all, so it is certainly not a personal thing. While I am not advocating the censorship that has followed the admin's decision, I can appreciate that it is their right to remove any posts relating to what they see as competition. They are a sponsored TA website after all. It is a shame but the DIS is not a free market, and those who have utilised the help of anyone on here will still be able to do so via other means so it is not the end of the world is it.

What we don't need to see here is personal comments aimed at individuals or over-excessive drama ...

Pat, Zazzle.com has those, as they print on demand for Disney. That is a design that you can have done "on-demand" on any type of blank t-shirt you choose. We chose the ringers.

I know we got some t'shirts from vista print uk.. they were very reasonable and didn't mind that they were disney images. They were nice quality too.

It's a shame that shipping charges are so much from the USA to the UK and vice versa. Also it's not fair on the organiser of the t'shirts to carry them all in their luggage as it eats their allowance.

This is written with the greatest respect but I feel it's about time we part ways.
No I'm not leaving the cruise lol, your stuck with me BUT!

Isn't it time this all stops,it's not fair on new cruisers,its not fair on the old cruisers. We all joined this page with such excitement for this cruise and this needs to continue.

I RESPECTFULLY suggest that the other Facebook group now asks permission to have their own Dis thread. This will enable people to have a choice about where they post and the people they want to socialise with. This will stop any future conflict from happening as its the same people pushing over and over, and its the same people getting targeted over and over. There is already a FE group and dining companions being organised by them so really there is no place here on this thread they need to be.

Like government has different sides, it's ok for this cruise to splinter into other groups as well. Lets be adults and just agree to disagree and calmly part ways.
