Our experience: we arrived at M&F shortly after 7a. There was no line to enter parking. We made our way down, went through security and temp screening, then to the tram walkway. We got in line here and from that point we waited about an hour.
we entered the park around 8:30-ish. We popped into the emporium so I could get my
Disneyland ears with the retro flags.

Then we did our traditional start to Pirates.

The line was short but it seemed to take long with the social distancing. I’d say about 15-20 minutes. We usually walk on first thing on the morning.
Next we went to Haunted Mansion
This line was maybe 25 minutes. There are a couple of really cool additions in this ride so pay attention.
Prior to HM, we had stopped at the mint julep bar for beignets. Now we know mobile ordering had been “recommended” didn’t know it was *required*. They wouldn’t let you order at the window and our soonest window for pickup was about an hour. So we ordered, then took the train for a full ride around the park. I can’t recall if this was before or after HM.
We then noticed the lines were much better in Tomorrowland. In fact I feel the majority of the crowd was in Adventrueland the whole day. We walked on ST and then SM was only10 mins. Then SW for 10-15 and then walk on to AIW.
We shared the fried chicken for lunch at Plaza Inn.

They had the food in to go clamshells in a large grocery style brown bag with handles. I did not care for this. But I later figured it out that it was due to the state requirements for indoor dining at theme parks. You could take your food to go and find a table. That way it’s not indoor dining.
we then rode BTMRR for a 5-10 min wait and then to Splash for about a 15 min wait.
Finally, we decided to take on the 45 min wait for indiana. They did not use the Indiana queue except for pass through. Instead, the whole of the jungle cruise queue was snaked and turned, up and down the stairs and wrapped in and out of the building for Indiana. It was crazy!
we planned to go to the Tiki room but there was a wait and no shade over there and by this time it was pretty hot. Around 3p the train was closed for the day and we left the park about this time.
Final observations:
I think all the rides had been sped up.
CMs were awesome always welcoming us back.
There was a lot of management in the park.
Dining tables are everywhere.
The park was in beautiful condition—everything looked newly painted; the landscaping was immaculate! All the things we really appreciate about Disneyland!
Crowds were light everywhere except Adventureland;
and Main Street and Tomorrowland have never been easier to walk through.
It was wonderful to be back but the lack of the atmosphere entertainment did make it feel slightly less magical.
Few people in Tomorrowland.
