I was not able to add John and to the Pub Crawl. We are John and Noel Birkner #6099.

Registered for Cruise March 2013 and began following this site first week of March. Impressive group and look forward to meeting you.

Hi Candy swap participants - been doing some thinking out loud. We have 21 rooms participating, and most rooms have multiple participants. (Refer back to pg 1 for the complete list) A number of you got back to me and expressed an interest in dividing into 2 smaller grps to facilitate packing. :thumbsup2

So, before i divide the grps up, are there any folks traveling with people in different cabins? If you can let me know (and i will not publish it) I can then divide the grps up so you are exchanging with folks you do not know. Kind of adds a little mystery to it.

My candy is most common to the area of New England I am from. We have a number of people from European nations, the southern US, midwest, central US, and a few I have forgotten right now. Bet we will have some very exciting exchanges.

Will wait a few days before making the smaller grps. In that way, you can let me know what rms not to place you with if you are traveling with them.

BTW, i forgot to mention, if you will have a fish extender holder outside your door, it will make leaving the exchanges there easier. If not, then we will find you. Thanks. Caroline :)

Here we go! The list is officially closed. The tentative master list is located here:

Master List - Cabin Crawl / Poker Run

If there any errors, please let me know.

Each person is assigned a group (1-11), plus each poker player is assigned a player number.

Go ahead and mark your calendars for the second Sea Day, Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 12:00 noon. I expect to have a staggered start with each group leaving approximately 4 minutes after the prior group. This should allow for a steady stream of people with little down time.

The goal is 1:30-1:45 hours.

I will have packets/instructions for each host/hostess who has volunteered their rooms.

Hi, is there a location where graphics are located for this cruise that is available for sharing.

I am a little late in coming to the party but.....we're here and even have our cabin assignment.

If we could be put on the roll call, that would be great. We are Judy and Michael (DH) and Judy. Cabin 5638

Looking forward to seeing old friends and new. This is my second WBTA, I was on the 2010 and this cruise will make me Gold. :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

The following two lists are for pins and lanyards that have been ordered but not yet paid for in PayPal to myself or Connie (Con5421).

If your name is not on the list and your have ordered either pins or lanyards, you should have already paid either Connie or myself. If your name is not on the list, and you still want to order pins or lanyards, you can either pay me in dollars or Connie in Euros for the pins or lanyards on PayPal.

The pins will be similar to the ones we did in 2010 and 2011 with the current logo. Costs are $6.50 US dollars or € 4.60.

The lanyards will be lime green, with black writing, 15mm with the following message: The MAGIC is Back - WBTA 6 - 20 Sept 2014

They will cost $2.80 or 2.10 Euro each. You need to pay for them by PayPal between now and no later than JULY 31st.

Please mark the PayPal payment as a personal transfer/gift as a friend to either Noel Birkner if you are paying in US Dollars ( birkner@needinfo.com ) or Connie van Maaren ( p.vanmaaren@chello.nl ) for Euro payments.

PLEASE make sure you state in the notes on PayPal if the payment is for lanyards, pins or both, the quantity you require, and you must give your DIS or FB name and cabin number (if not GTY). Please also say what name(s) you would like to appear on the name tag, i.e, just your first name, if you want your last name listed or if you want your DIS listed.

Lanyards and pins will be distributed on the ship at 3PM in the Promenade Lounge on boarding day and at the Hard Rock Cafe pre cruise meet. If you can not make either meet, it is imperative we have your stateroom number to be able to deliver the pin or lanyard.

If you have any questions, you can either PM Connie or myself.

So excited! Thanks for organising this Caroline. I've put my sweets into envelopes so I can place them on the fish if needed.

Thank you so much for organising this! I still don't overly understand the poker thingy but I'm sure you'll explain it when we're doing it and I'm sure that we will have a great time.

Where do we meet?

Hiya. Not sure if you are referring to the room crawl in which case I don't think we have a location yet. However on the first day usually we have a "meet" for all the disboard members to meet and say hi. Its a great way to get to know some of the faces that have been chatting on here. :cool1:

As long as there are no conflicts, we will meet in the Promenade Lounge at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 for the Cabin Crawl / Poker Run.

Info has been sent to Michael, the author of the master Navigator.

I remember someone saying they were going to the rainforest before getting dropped off at the airport. That sounds interesting too, but can't find the post either. I don't have to be at the airport until 3pm.

That might have been me ;)

We have booked a private tour to El Yunque Rainforest with drop off at the airport around 3pm.
We are flying home with Condor flight DE 6121 at 6:10pm.

You might be able to join us. We're paying 80$ per person.
Just send me a PM, if you're interested.

I'm happy to do all of the people I've had a look I don't think it's to big to manage I realise some people want smaller groups so if this is the case can you please just put us in both groups please our kids are super excited to do the candy swap. Thanks

We also want to do the whole group for the candy swap if it's possible..if not we will go with the flow ;)

And we'll also do everyone.... Hubby loves trying all the different candies, although last time we brought most of it home and enjoyed it over the next month or so. Too many goodies on the ship already!

Family friendly chocolate eating! On the EBTA I organized a chocolate eating event..it was like DCL's chocolate tasting only different..and family friendly...Everyone will bring chocolate to share ( light, dark, white), and a beverage or two to drink and chat. Bring a drink from Deck 9, your room or buy one at the bar this is not a DCL sponsored event and will not be charged. All ages are welcome to attend!
It is like the DCL chocolate tasting without the port or scotch ( unless you bring some and wanna drink it LOL ) the person describing the drinks/chocolate, and the $30 charge.

September 13 -
Promenade Lounge
3 pm

Sign ups are on FB and pm me here.. Only reason to sign up is to see how many chocolates to bring..
