That stinks about the rum tasting! I'm fearing they may say the same about our Mojito one. That is silly that DCL is missing out on $$ by taking this stance. Who cares if it isn't normally offered, if they have the ingredients and everyone prepaid, what is the big deal? They can be so odd sometimes. Like saying they cancelled character breakfast on our cruise because it is "port intensive" which is laughable considering we have 8 days at sea! We should be getting. 2 breakfasts lol.

On our WBTA 2010, Susan Kraft organized the first mojito tasting they had ever done. We had a blast in Animator's Palate making about six different types of mojito's. Best time ever!!

That's fantastic. I'm Silver so I guess I better check when I can book! I keep checking to see if more excursions are listed. I can't believe they aren't. I've sent a few emails asking when the excursions will be posted and I keep getting the standard "we are doing our best to.......as soon as they are available they will be posted."

Thanks for sharing! Hopefully they post Antigua soon! That is the the one port we are definitely doing DCL for excursion because of the extremely short time in port.

I've received replies quickly from the majority of the people who signed up for the mixology tasting. Thank you so much for your quick responses!!! I've attached the list of people who are on the list. Would you please check over the list to see if I've confirmed those who have let me know they are still interested. For those who haven't confirmed, please send me a quick PM message with your room number (if you didn't know it before) and your DCL reservation number. I would like to have this finalized within the next week. The ones I haven't heard from, I'll just assume they are not interested and delete them from the list.

I've been booked on this cruise since day one, but wasn't 100% sure I'd be keeping it. Well now we're nearly at the final payment date and I decided it's a go and I'm PIF!

I'm glad the excursions are finally all up now since my booking window opens tomorrow.

Me: Single gal from RI, this will be cruise #22 with DCL and I see some familiar names from prior cruises.

And of course, y'all have been quite busy in this thread so I've got a lot of reading to do!

Unless you are Platinum or traveling Concierge, you can't sign up just yet, but will have to wait another few weeks, the exact date depending on your Castaway Club level. How many DCL cruises have you taken before?

Are there any other Platinums trying to book excursions or Palo online? When I go into my cruise reservation, I don't even see the panel for "My Cruise Activities". It just goes right from "Reservation Summary" to "My Online Check-in" (which is now indeed open for me to do online check-in).

Emailed TA to have her check with DCL to find out what is going on. Must be a glitch in their system.

I finally figured it out at 2:00 am. I clicked up top on planned activities and it opened up. I am not sure why it was like this but it worked. Good luck everyone.

Remember if you are in the dis palo group brunch to still make a palo ressie on your own just in case DCL does not accept our brunch groups for the private room!! Post #8 on this thread has more details but after our private room brunch groups are accepted then DCL will automatically delete your original ressie. Just the way DCL functions but we hope our eight palo groups are accepted from post #8 when submitted - will learn about 30 days prior.

Last time I posted or read this thread was back in August right after we initially booked this cruise as a placeholder until we could commit. Recently we PIFed, booked flights, etc., so are definitely committed and last I checked we're signed up for the FE (did that on the FB page). Looks like the group has been active so I'll need to begin reading with a focus towards what folks have had to say re excursions at each port. Cheers J.R.

Don't think we are doing any in Antigua, considering scenic railway in St Kitts.
