We returned from our trip last Saturday (12/20) and I can assure everyone that the magic is alive and well (at least it was for us)!!!!
My mom and I each had a savannah view room at AKL and my sister had a standard view room. I faxed a request asking if we could all be at least in the same area of the hotel. Well... my sister was upgraded to savannah view at n/c and we all had rooms right next to each other (4423, 4425, 4425 - Zebra Trail, Arusha savannah)!!!
My sister was also informed at checkin that she had the silver plan. We explained to the front desk that she originally booked the silver plan but that it was cancelled. The CM insisted their info was correct, even after I showed her the paperwork. She checked with someone else (I assume a manager) and we were told that we had 28 wishes!!!!
I cannot begin to explain was a special trip this was for all of us. The character interaction was as good as ever and all the CMs were wonderful.
We booked the Grand One for my sister's bday to see the MVMCP wishes fireworks and it was amazing... simply amazing.
