The Magic cruises to Copenhagen, EB T/A, 5/15/15

Glad I was finally able to find the new thread. Shame about the old one :/

We are book to stay in AKL before the cruise and then Beach Club after the cruise. May is going to be a busy month haha, especially since we get married on the 10th.

Wonderfu!

Since the original thread is not here any more, I wonder how the interest in the Candy Exchange has fared. Here's the list:

sweetlovin’
bobbiwoz
TinkTatoo
Va-Nana Tink
padalyn
merifan

Sign up if you are interested! We will have about 8-12 in each group, depending on how many sign up, and we give candy of local or regional interest to the group.

I'm still planning on it!! :cool1:

They just added more NYC excursions. I have also been checking viator and local guide websites to get an idea of pricing for non Disney vendors. Lots of competition for excursion dollars.

Anyone here know NYC well enough to talk about what one can realistically hope to see in 8 hours with two boys ages 11 and 9? And/or what would you recommend as a "must see"? I know I want to do 9/11, top of rock, grand central, Central Park, natural history museum, glimpse of lady liberty, Times Square, etc. too much?

I have been looking at tour recommendations on Trip Advisor, so thanks for the reminder about tours booked through Viator. If you book a non-ship tour, just remember to add extra time to get from the ship to wherever your tour begins and ends.

Thanks for all of the mentions here about Iceland Air, my Sister got great prices, Paris to Newark! American carrier prices scarred her!:scared1:

That's just about all we want to do to! Think we'll see Lady Liberty as we come in, check that one off. The others, we kind of hope to walk or get to Central Park, and take off from there. Could get interesting...;)

Yay for Icelandair! Think a bunch of us on DCL are booked with them. Hope they like the Mouse! :thumbsup2

Is there a pirate night on EBTA cruises?

I talked to them yesterday and they said there was no information for that yet.

It is suppose to be the night we are leaving St. John's.

If you go to your cruise on DCL and open your reservation, go up to planning center and under my reservation, open my cruise activities. It will give you 'little cards' that shows each day. Most say 'no activities' but day one and day seven (St John) shows "1 ship activity' click on that and Day one will show you sail away party and day 7 will show you Pirate party. Will it change? maybe.

Calling DCL is not always going to give you a correct answer either. Numerous calls were made regarding dress nights on our recent EBPC cruise and we all were informed two formal nights, NO semi-formal nights. We had two formal and 1 semiformal. That is usually the standard on a 14+ night cruise. But nobody was told about that semi-formal.

Ah! Ok because I did call Disney and they said they didn't know anything either. I was pretty sure about the 2 formals and 1 semi, because I had read that somewhere before, but I just wanted to make sure there was a pirate night. I know Alaska there isn't one. I am sending out an email to my party to make sure everyone is onboard and going; (I don't want to pay for people that aren't able to go.) I was going to include some of the festivities..so I will say pirate night, 2 formals and 1 semi for now.

Are there usually any other nights, or are the rest cruise casual (based on past cruises)

Oh yeah. Running out of things to do to get ready though.

I'm still trying to get good flights for our return home once we land in MSP. Did not know those flights from MSP-MEM would be either few or high. But it'll come! :goodvibes

I still have to pick our pre cruise WDW resort (just one night) and book it. Leaning towards Poly if it is complete by then.
