The Magic continues -- Or Bless Mr Cockerell

I finally got around to mailing a complimentary letter to a few areas at WDW, including Mr Lee Cockerell.
I figured when I wrote him griping about POR in May, I needed to write when I had a great time too!

I wrote how wonderful and magical our January trip was -- esp mentioning Scoop and the CM who selected Blaine and I for our BIG MK day!
Well I rec'd another Magical Moment in the mail today from Mr Cockerell. A nice handwritten note , another certificate he signed (Where Magic Lives) AND .............. Pin 10659: Mickey Leadership Manager's Pin!

I gotta think fo something nice for him...........

Another instance of what we say around here all the time, in short, if you give of yourself, you will get back so much more(not very eloquent, but you know what I mean). Mr Cockerell must have been so tickled to receive your letter (especially after all the negative ones he must have received after the Sept. Event). It was very nice of him to respond personally to you! And that pin...it's very cool!! Congrats!!!

Mr Cockerell is very good about thanking people and recognizing people. He actually writes a cast newsletter called the main st. diary. In it he shares many of the letters (both good and bad) that he receives so that the cast members can read them. Some of them are very interesting.

I have never met Mr Cockerell in person, but he seems to be someone that definatly follows the Disney attitude and doesn't get caught up in a lot of the politics.
