Gonna set out a bucket of Pine Sol so it smells like I cleaned.

Also good is putting the vacuum cleaner out in the middle of the rug so you can say "I was JUST about to vacuum!"

Now, I'm really outta here

kpk89: You are one brave woman. ;) Yikes.

Yep. It all turned out OK, though. We kept everybody lickered up and the kids know their way around so it was fine. No, just kidding I would never let the kids run off on their own. Yet. But we revived the motto from a long ago camping trip with friends. We were worried that even though we all got along great, that we'd clash over everybody's different camping style. Like one guy was a SERIOUS camper and wanted the site shipshape. Others were a little messy. :rolleyes1 So things could potentially get tense. But we invented a motto for that trip, which has carried us thru many an "about to be tense" moment.:

"Who cares? Have another beer!" :teeth:

Thanks. I think. ;)

And hey, that new Orange Pine Sol works like a charm. Pick some up the next time you're out. Just pour a little in your sink and it smells like you've been cleaning the whole house all day.

Jiminy cricket, don't you people ever work?! Welcome to Jennifer, Jamal, and kpk. What did all of you do before this thread? How did you talk on here?

Jamal- Did you ever see that old indy movie? cuz I'm thinking your title was inspired by that. The cook, the butcher, the wife....am I right? Loving your tr.

Jennifer- anyone who is named Jennifer is welcomed here, or sue or ed, or hank or mildred. Not everyone talks directly to each other but most people try to and the reason we are all here is because we like talking too much! These are very, very lovely people who happen to be sillydee at the same time. This is not an exclusive club.

kpk-TG someone else is from the north here. We always go to santa's village and storyland! Next door in Maine, so yeah, I get the thrill of a few flowers popping out o' da' earth! You are right, there is a certain geographic flavor here, which I will never fit into.

But the starter of the Maelstrom movement to this thread began with a gal from even north of you and me! So, I think it is more about a shared love of chatting and humor that defines this thread. I for one needed to say alot more to some of these folks than "thanks for your tr", and couldn't in one particular forum, and wanted to hear more from them. Does anyone else have another explanation as to why we are all here?

Mel- Mature modeling is cool, if you were actually mature...scaredy Mel, of da widdle spideys! You are a snip of a pip- a youngun' dear... and I, like Lala, will await for your pic. pop it up for an hour like you did before. You gave me an idea, and I might do that too sometime in the not so distance future. Girl, you are resourceful.

What is going on with all these hookups. Jeeesh! Not to creepy dee all of you out, although this probably will. I have treated cybercheating clients. I kid you not. and there is even cybercheating within the cybercheating! Scandalous....

Where is luvpooh?

Grammy- You and I definitely have the same taste in trs, either I am there and you've already been, or I see you after me. How are the kittens,? Can I just snuggle them. OOOOH I wuv dos widdle wee ones.... :grouphug:

Lil' Grumpy- I really like your writing style, and while I don't get all of it, I get it in general. Keep posting, I am entertained.

MommyP- I will miss your wrting.

Loubon- Do you like bourboun.

Steve-I am just kidding about the hookups!

Lala- "LALA DE MY LALALALALALALALALAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Bipolymelonmom- Your name is Jennifer? I love that name!

Zzub- Me thinks your billable hours are going down lo' since this thread began.....

SNAP- you little flit of a thing, thanks for the calender! We are trying to figure out when to go, and when we decide, I'll put us in.

Illuminations Uk- Would you say something here please?

Mark and Rhonda- Humdinger of a playset, wow? Looks like you were inspired by the a themepark. It looks like a themepark!

Ed-?notzzub ouy erA

Georgia- Do you pack one? Like zzub's wife I mean, you know, for safety? or do you do karate like Mel, or zzub's wife? I keep thinking about all those creepsters you put away, and who get out, like this guy you told us about.

Okay, I am not going to miss a day o' Maelstromming as I did yesterday. Jeesh....

This thread is moving fast today! Just jumping in....

LaLa: I'm sooo jealous about your trip. I think I remember you got in on the free dining? We're booked for after Thanksgiving and it's so tempting to change the dates. So far, I've held fast.

Pongo: Your invitations are gorgeous! It's alot of work and stress, but I know you'll have a wonderful wedding.

Grammy - A big shout out to you! It's somewhat hard to keep up and you have a great way of summarizing.

Now, I'll weigh in on the great debate about Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, et al. My opinion (if you want it) - Where have all the good men gone???

Speaking of good men, I agree with the list of creepycrawlyickywickies. Brad, espec. Tom. Does anyone know who Gerard Butler is, Gerry Butler? The guy was the Phantom in the movie, and although it got panned, I loved him. Very hot, the whole goth opera stuff, and a welshman. He is da man in my book.

Horsegirl - Wanted to tell you that I loved your picture in the Dis yearbook. I think I have seen that pic somewhere before, but can't figure out where. Lou is great.

Jamal- Did you ever see that old indy movie? cuz I'm thinking your title was inspired by that. The cook, the butcher, the wife....am I right? Loving your tr.

Yikes, I just had a horrible flashback. That had to be the worst movie I ever sat through twice.

I thought he was much better than the main male character, whoever that was

Oh I know, he was such a milktoast, that viscount! But I actually was impressed with him, because he played a gay mormon attorney in ANGELS OF AMERICA. The roles were such a departure from one another that I was really impressed. I forget his name, but I saw him interviewed and he knew all us girls would love Gerry more, as evil as he was. I read reviews that said all three of the actors, you know Emmy Rosslyn, the lead girl, were uncharismatic. I really disagreed. That girl is was only 18 when she made that movie. I thought it was a great interpretation of the play. Some movies I can watch a hundred times, that is one of them.

Grammy! Hi, I never come on when you are here. How are the babies? Thanks, I did not know i was in the yearbook. I will go check it out.

Lala, Bipoly and all you other current writers, get movin' I need more to read. Good thing I was enrolled in speed reading as a mere child.....

Oh I know Haleyb- it was seriously disturbing.

I didn't say hi to you, or pongo, or tell Princess Aurora that she needs to notify of the est too, for us nincompoops that can't compute it.

Yes, we did. DH was primed but the free dining was the kicker. That did it. He caved and we booked Coronado Springs. We thought about going for broke and booking the Contemporary but we then decided that we would like for the kids to have a college education one day after all and stuck with another moderate. But that's okay. We love Coronado Springs and are oh so psyched. The kids don't know yet. It's waaaaaay too far off for us to have to hear them ask if we're leaving tomorrow every day for the next five months and three weeks.

Okay, let's take a poll. Oh, I typed poo just then. :rotfl2: Yikes, I need some coffee.

Should we tell the kids or should be just drive down and let them figure out where we're going when we pass under the arches? I don't know if we could swing it, but that would be very, very cool.

Oh, I disagree as well. I think they showed great personality, with the exception of that one character. I mean, why would you choose him over that phantom??

Tom Cruise IS, now, how you say ... creepydee? Agreed. ew.

I cannot think of his name now, but the guy who played Mister Dahr-see ;) in the new Pride & Prejudice was pretty hot. Him, and Patrick Stewart. I think I have a thing for accents, because actually I love Matthew McConaghy too. Deoderantlessness notwithstanding.

Sumpin' else -- could one of you pro TR writers tell me how to edit the title of a thread to show where the next part is?

I have a li'l TR going on, in case anybody wants to read it whilst waiting for Vettechick or LaLa to finish. Or for Mel to take a nother trip AND write another tale.

1) We stayed at the Coronado last Dec - loved, loved, loved it. Its a delux in mod clothing.

2) How old are your kids? On the one hand, I think being able to surprise them like that would be really cool, but on the other hand, if they're old enough, having them involved with the planning is really fun too.

I agree. Lou is great!

As far as the male celebrities go, I never was too big on Tom Cruise and now he's just a FREAK. I liked Val Kilmer (especially in Top Gun) and now he's a NUT. And Brad...that was just a waste of a once good-looking man.

I'm not a pro, but go to page one of the tr, click edit, and just go in and add it.

I am liking your tr, and posted, so hopefully others will too! it is scarey to start one, huh?
