I wanna play! You must know I took ZZUB and Mel with me to Disney last week. You two were all printed-out Poly-poolside reading material for the CookMaster and me. My crushes on you and vettechick inspired my TR and, as you will see if I ever reach that day in the TR, led us to FastPass Maelstrom!

Now Delswife is here . I can't believe it. You are the MASTER!

And I have a story for you. I can't wait for the TR to post it.

Last week DS11 and I were at MGM and did Who Wants to be a Millionaire. The second guy in the hotseat had on a badshoe.com shirt! I wanted to give him a shout out!! Hey! I KNOW you!! Who are you?? How's Commando Nikki? Or are you just a groupie like me?? I tried to explain it to DS11 but he looked at me like, well, like he should look at his crazy mother in that situation. I sooo hoped to stalk this guy after but the peeps took him away to collect his hat and five pins. He said he was there with his son but I couldn't stalk him either b/c he was on the other side of the audience blocked by a melon head (no offense, Jen).

OK, that's it. Now can I play?

Btw, any ideas how I can convince dd6 that she has to ride this again. It is one of my fav's and she was freaked out when I got her on it at 4, so now she's wimping out.

I don't know if I'm really a Maelstromer, or more of the Maelstromer auxiliary. Maybe I should hold a bake sale. Hm. As far as I can tell, this is a pretty welcoming bunch. Though I've posted a coupla times and gotten nooo response, so I've concluded that either 1. the banter was so fast 'n' furious that my post got missed, or 2. It's not you, it's me. I'm hoping it's 1., and I'm trying again in the AM when things are a little slower.

Sooo cool to see Delswife here! The legendary TR has sent its ripple effect out it to the world in SUCH a way. We used LY/MI as a way to ease the potential fireworks that coulda happened when we took ALL the inlaws to WDW with us in January. AND all stayed together under one roof. Bought the pins, gave them to everyone, and gave them whole talkin' to about keeping it magical, darnit! And it worked. Even my 2 year old gets it, and tosses off the sweetest little "Wuv ya! Meeeen it!" when somebody's getting out of hand.

So Delswife. Thanks. You're awesome.

DD10 has never been on it, it freaks her out too. I will be dragging her on during our upcoming trip in July. Time to suck it up dear, they are Happy Haunts!

DD5 (at the time) walked right in the sinking room and when the CM said, "please move to the dead center of the room" DD replied, "I ain't frade of no ghosts" (aka Ghostbusters...)

Pongoperdigirl - I missed all the wedding stuff last night. Your invitations are beautiful. I went to a wedding a couple of months age (another disney freak) and before they played the wedding march and the bride came down the aisle, they played "Someday my Prince will Come" I am not even sure that is the name of the song, but.. There was not a dry eye in the house.

She also had a tiara and veil, but had it made by her MIL. Way cheaper. My DD bought her tiara and it cost a small fortune. She thinks we are financially independent. We ate PBJ for months after that wedding.

Yes, it is snowing here. My DH is on his way to Cape May to clean up our summer place(trailer in campgrounds). I don't think he will get much done. I have strict orders to get busy in this house and not be on the boards all day. Am I doing a good job. Gonna set out a bucket of Pine Sol so it smells like I cleaned.

My MIL has a trailor in one of the camp grounds down there too. I can't think of the name of the place right now. DH and I use to open it up for her every year. We havn't done that since I had the baby though.
I will have to try that trick with the pinesol sometime, although I think with the white floor in the kitchen I really wouldn't get away with it!

My boy is home sick from school today, and I'm bad enough to be a little bit glad, because it means I HAVE to stay home, which gives me time to DIS! (he's really not so sick, just a touch of fever. Still wants to on the trampoline, so how sick, really, can he be? I'm not SO horrible.)

Last year we didn't get to use it much but I am planning on staying most of the summer. I really love it there. Just getting away from it all is fantastic. The last time I stayed for the summer was about ten years ago. When I had to come home I cried all day. So did the kids. My grandbabies are really looking forward to spending days at the beach.
