In keeping with the disturbing pictures of this morning..........

Kitty Litter Cake
Ingredients:
1 Spice or German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 White Cake Mix
1 Pkg White Sandwich Cookies
1 large pkg Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
Green food coloring
12 small Tootsie Rolls
1 *new* kitty litter box
1 *new* kitty litter box plastic liner
1 *new* pooper scooper


Preparation Instructions:
Prepare cake mixes and bake according to directions (any size pans). Prepare pudding mix and chill until ready to assemble. Crumble white sandwich cookies in small batches in blender, they tend to stick, so scrape often. Set aside all but about 1/4 cup.
To the 1/4 cup cookie crumbs, add a few drops green food coloring and mix using a fork or shake in a jar.

When cakes are cooled to room temperature, crumble into a large bowl. Toss with half the remaining white cookie crumbs and the chilled pudding. You probably won't need all of the pudding, mix with the cake and "feel" it, you don't want it soggy, just moist; gently combine.

Line new, clean kitty litter box. Put mixture into litter box. Put three unwrapped Tootsie rolls in a microwave safe dish and heat until soft and pliable. Shape ends so they are no longer blunt, curving slightly. Repeat with 3 more Tootsie rolls and bury in mixture.

Sprinkle the other half of cookie crumbs over top. Scatter the green cookie crumbs lightly over the top, this is supposed to look like the chlorophyll in kitty litter.

Heat remaining Tootsie Rolls, 3 at a time in the microwave until almost melted. Scrape them on top of the cake and sprinkle with cookie crumbs. This is my addition--only: spread 5 of the remaining Tootsie Rolls over the top; take one and heat until pliable, hang it over the side of the kitty litter box; sprinkling it lightly with cookie crumbs.

Serve with a *new* pooper scooper.

You know what, the weather is nice tonight so I can sleep in the yard.

I will never forget the first time her Mom came to stay with us. We all stayed up late the night before having hot chocolate and cookies.

I am an early riser, so I was the first one up, and I always take a shower within minutes of waking, to get a refreshing start on the day.

I brushed my teeth, grabbed a towel and turned to start the shower.

Now imagine the "psycho" music.......e e e e e e

There they were draped over the shower curtain hanging there for all to see! granny panties! Big and purple and starring me right in the face.

Why Why Why Why. A few stomach wrenching thoughts went through my head and then I proceeded to run from the bathroom. While I was running I was attempting to figure out why they needed to be there.

I gave up trying to figure it out immediately and woke PP out of a deep sleep to remove them. All through my shower every time I closed my eyes I kept seeing those granny panties. That was the fastest shower I ever took!

Til this day I can't remember or will not remember the exact explanation. It had something to do with being softer if they are hand washed and hung up to dry.

I hear she still does this when she comes over but PP (God bless her heart) waits untill everyone is sleeping and hides them.

The cables were terminated yesterday. Knit told me he called them this morning and they said they'd moved our appt. up to today. I just called the new number and it rang, so that's good, right?

We still won't have internet until next week. They can't process the order until the phones are wired (which they are now). I'm to the point where I am going to cut someone's head off if I don't get my internet SOON. (Not you, Knit - maybe little Knit, though. Or the poop eating beagle.)

Both the Yacht and Beach Club are booked solid, and there are no DVC units available to rent. Boardwalk is available for $385 a night, with no AP discounts expected. So, because I have to be in a normal hotel room with all 4 of us (well, for 1/2 the week, anyway), I want the room to be as big as possible. I also want to have easy access to Epcot, because the 1st 1/2 of the week is all about the F&W fest with my sister. Since an Epcot resort doesn't look feasible, I figured I'd look at monorail resorts, especially if I can snag an AP discount. And YOU GIRLS have me convinced that the Poly would be worth checking out, even though it never appealed to me before. What'dya think??

Speaking of which, I had to laugh yesterday when booking Yachtsman Steakhouse for DH's 45th. The CM was really funny when she was trying very careful so as not to offend, to let me know that they have a dress code
Exposed thongs were not on the list.......I asked........NOT!

Has anyone ate there? Will we like it, us Steak eating Canucks (with DD11 and DS8) despite being two dining credits??
