Drive by posting - I didn't get as much time this afternoon as I invisioned. My husband took the opportunity presented by having a sick child and took the afternoon off work. Audrey slept, he watched a movie. He wanted me to keep him company, and since he has been gone since Monday, I did.

The child is acting like she is feeling better already. 'Course, that might be because the first dose has not yet worn off.

So, general musings, I was thinking about October (it is a perpetual thought process), am I correct that I am going to have the youngest kids at the meet? That is some pressure, because I am certain that Jamal has convinced any number of you to take pics of meltdown children.

Okay, DH is going to be home with supper soon, don't know if I'll get to chat tonight, but I'll try.

I miss everyone. I feel like I've been on exile island for 2 days.

Anyway.....My little sister (who is 41, yes my LITTLE sister who is 41) is in Hawaii with her DH, and I am here at her house watching my 4 yr old niece and 3 yr old nephew. And she has a computer! With DSL!!! Yeah! I can DIS tonight....because, in fact, my dear sons, 14 and 11, are upstairs watching a movie with the little ones. Of course, my 11 yr. old has also missed our computer, so he's taking over when the movie ends. Bummer. But I'm sooooo happy to be DISing without having to look over my shoulder to make sure no one is standing in my office doorway watching me DIS instead of work

That's all. Except...that clown....OMG....nightmare city. I can feel it coming.....

Then I just haven't felt much like DISing...then I got violently ill..I won't go into too many details, but it involved the toilet and a fanny pack...well not really, I had a trash can handy. Jeremiah also got it...only from one end though.

as a relative newbie to the Disboards, I'd been visiting the weddings and honeymoon boards...the resort board to get good info on where to stay, the restaurant board for where to make those ADR's...and after I got over tired of the arguments about resort mugs and pool hopping and getting seriously flamed for not wanting to eat at Whispering Canyon...I found the TR board.. AFter reading my first ever TR by none other than the famous "Poly Melon Mama" I was hooked! Started reading of Zzub's battle for his wallet and Lala's struggle to get to the RED power ranger and finally Mel's Fab, novel length trip report...my Fiance started to get annoyed with me for spending so much time on the computer...said he felt abandoned...

THEN I finally find the Community Board...start reading this thread and when I get to the end I see my worst nightmare come true...Pennywise the clown..I screamed...seriously shrieked in utter surprise at finding that evil demon here on a DISboard!! See I have a fear of clowns...I had an evil babysitter when I was young who not only locked me in a closet and told me the vacuum cleaner would eat me if I cried, but she also told me that Ronald McDonald ate children and that is why his mouth was red...it was blood!

The Disboards got me in trouble again...DF said I was being rowdy!
