Alright - I need help. I've found something I want to use as a custom avatar, but it keeps saying the file is too big. Anybody know how to make it smaller so I can use it?

ooh, I do. Here's what I do. Open it in paint. Do strech/skew by 50 %. Then try again.

I did that like 4 times to where it was so small I thought you couldn't see it. it said it was still too big...

Nope, I live in Northern Virginia and work in Silver Spring, MD. I drive to a train station 4 miles from my house, take the train into Washington, then take the Metro (subway) to Silver Spring.

Do you have some type of photo program on your PC? You can also upload it to Photobucket, the account is free to register. You just edit the image and make it either 50% or 25% smaller.
