Oh, and I hope my sharing of that story didn't offend anyone or make you think less of me. Someone made a comment on here that made me think about it. And I must say I think it is the funniest thing I have ever heard in church.

Blessings!

Can a Maelstromer be offended???

The story was really funny, and actually the fact that it took place in church made it even more!

I wonder if I could do my doctoral work around the subject of the Gospel and Disney...

hmmm....

Have y'all read those books, by the way? They're pretty good!

Blessings!

What books? Seriously? Or am I sleepy?

Can't find the coffee shop and not sure about it. I feel all at 'home' on Disney. I am a fuddyduddy.

I've never used, or typed, that word.

Horsepal, The six year old bites but he's missing quite a few teeth.

I had a stalker once too...shudder...let's not talk about it and don't tell, OK?

Do I really want to register and all at the coffee shop? I am lazy about that but feel left out if I don't. Somebody tell me how to get there again if you all left here.

Or are you leaving M-E? And GA Cat, cuz we feel ignored.

Mel, my dear firsthappyhaunt :goodvibes :grouphug:

Jamal-oh sign up and put two screens up. this is where the action is, but that is where the action can be too. It is very hard to go back and forth. Makes me feel splitzy, but people can be a little looser there with regards to some things, although things are pretty loose here, I must say, eh hem, reverend!

There are 2 books:

"The Gospel according to Disney"

"The Gospel in Disney"

They're pretty good reads. I've used them in sermons and classes etc. Speaking of classes, I get to go to another church here in Middle GA on Saturday to teach the information I learned at the Disney Institute. I'm excited. This will be the second time I've taught it.

Blessings!

Alright get this. I wanted to go back and read my trip reports. Yes I am getting quite jealous of Rhonda and Wesley getting to go to the world in a couple weeks. I on the other hand will be working all weekend.

So I put them in word format - copied and pasted. It pasted in size 12 font and get this - the three trips together was 55 pages! OH MY GOSH! What in the world did I say for 55 pages? And that's just my part - not the responses I or anyone else made.

Who knew I wrote so much. And the other thing is that I hated writing papers in college. This is almost like my own thesis! Perhaps I should go back for my doctorate. Nah. I don't like school that much. I do have a masters though.

Oh, and I hope my sharing of that story didn't offend anyone or make you think less of me. Someone made a comment on here that made me think about it. And I must say I think it is the funniest thing I have ever heard in church.

What the HECK??????

Are you talking about, Mark???? Rhonda???

I don't think YOU'VE... BEEN READING THIS THREAD?????

At all.

You guys are the wholesome guys here. Really.

You guys are the reason we're trying, not so successfully, to keep this thread on the up and up.

You capish????

But... you're also way cool. And funny. But in a clean, fresh, pure and innocent way. Got it?

Good.

Now breathe deeply.

Horseymorseysisterfriendadoptivemomhottie,

Thank you for showing yourself!! Why have you been hiding? You are clearly the hottie deserving of this thread. You must fear a viking insurgence on your peaceful horse-scene. Whatever that looks like.

Now I want to go drink lemon drop(s) with you at CG and let our kids play in the sand at the Poly.

Watch out; there are some creepy dee folks on this thread.

I got your back.

oh HE...LL NO!!!

You did not just set up a cyber date to drink booze and beach it at the Poly without me did you??

now I am hurt too...

and depressed.....

waaaa....cry....sob.....

I share your pain...my 4 yr old son has a peanut allergy...it is sad and scary isn't it?! He deals with it really well though.

Luckily, our DS isn't not severly allergic and is a good candidate to grow out of it.

However, we moved to Georgia right after he was diagnosed. I thought that was very ironic! Jimmy Carter and all!

In Canada peanut products are banned from all the schools and one major candy maker here produces peanut free candy bars which includes Kit Kats. Plus a major peanut free ice cream is available so it's not too bad for him.

Hope your DS's isn't too bad, 'cause I know it's real hard in Georgia to keep away from the peanut stuff.

You're the reason I'm having second thoughts about posting my picture you know where. It's true.

Oh come on. It can't be worse than the story I just told. If it's Lady Godiva, I've seen her before. With my parents. At Pleasure Island. They teased me mercilessly cause I kept staring. Why do parents do that, huh? Still to this day they will bring up me looking at Lady Godiva.

Blessings!

It's ok Jen. They don't have a love for the Poly like we do. They just don't understand.

Rev, come on! YOU HAVE GIVEN MANY BEAUTIFUL WORDS FOR US. I have read several moving things by you. Now what I like about you as a man of the cloth is that you are real. You probably can't be this silly with your church, not to the degree you can be here. And, neither can I with my clients. Don't pull the story. I'm teasin ya. You are a perfect mixture of clean and not so clean. Please. Feel free to be yourself here. If you don't we won't either, and then it'll be just like real life, where you have to watch every word.

Do a google search for delswife, scroll down a little until you see:

.....is proud to spotlight the writings of Robin, AKA Delswife, infamous and hilarious detailed reports of her Walt Disney World excursions. Come on in! ...

Click on the link and then click on the forum. While it is a little more rowdy than here is really isn't that bad and the people are very friendly. Actually almost everybody there is also a member here.

nevernevernever, dearest PMM :grouphug: :grouphug:
See, HG saw my Trip report about lemon drops and added them to her siggie to make me all jealous of her since I just got back and can't go again for 100,000 years, probably. So she said come on and now I saw her pic and now we might just all need to get in our cars, get an ADR for Cal. Grill, have a lemon drop (or 3 max), watch Wishes, and go home. Wouldn't that be fun? Somebody plan and fund it.. Maybe Mel since her DH is a celebrity.

candy...yuuuummm....

diet....ick.

BY DEFINITION:
Malstromers are those who like to Maelstrom...requiring the prerequisite fastpass for entry. Maelstomers are those who have a blatant disreguard for offending, hurting, stalking, puking on or pooping on, and shooting others. They tend to throw up in their mouths just a little on occasion. Some go to church, others have Bloody Mary's and cheap wine, most Maelstromers love the 80's but are split on the affection towards one Barr-E. Mantelow...Some preach, some teach, some therapize and others tend bar...in legal terms....some eat candy while others work on rock hard abs, buns and melons????? Maelstomers are highly volitile and sensitive, they may kiss your balding head or daydream of some naked by a lake on a laptop...while others set the scope on the rifle for your left eye...and ear...Maelstromers are partiers who can "drop it like its hot" and pick a mean banjo. They are one sweet ride.
