This post is the product of the really fun chat I had Monday night about fashion. I think it was GACat that mentioned bold fashion choices, so with her in mind I am posting a picture of some shoes I have. (I think it was MommyPoppins that did the other day so she inspired me as well)
So for all my shoe girls:

Anyone else have those shoes???? I have the brown ones in black as well and I love love love them.

Pongo Jen, I love those shoes. I would have nothing that would work with them, and could possibly break my neck if I were to walk in them,.....but man do I want 'em!

Love AI. I think Paris is going home tonight. She should have gone home a couple of weeks ago. Tired of her singing. Katie McPhee's 1st song was horrible. Hopefully that won't cause her to go home tonight.

Love Taylor Hicks and Chris. I think even if Taylor doesn't win he'll still be successful. I think Chris will win it in the end.

Morning P.Pooh!!! Nope, no job yet. I want to go to the meet so badly, but a job would just put a kink in my life of leisure! I wish a had a Disney loving husband. He really likes Disney, but you know he doesn't loooove it....so he isn't too gung-ho about handing me a credit card so that I can go and have a vacation with my imaginary friends. I still have a few months to work on him....and to maybe actually save (gasp) some of my money for the trip!!!!

I agree that Paris needs to go. Chris is my favorite.

I didn't see the SNL spoof, but I've heard a lot about it. I know someone who DVRs SNL, so I'm going to try to get over to watch it. Someday. When I don't have three trillion things to do in a day.

OK, funny Wednesday story. When my niece was in pre-school, they were learning the days of the week. On Wednesday, the teacher asked the burning question, "Who knows what today is?" Her little hand shot up and she proudly announced, "My mommy says today is HUMPIN' day!"

The teacher was bumfuzzled, and my sister was embarrassed. My BIL thought it was hilarious.

I thought it was pretty darn funny, too.

FYI...this is the ONLY thread I look at on this place anymore. Y'all know I'm a cheerleader (and you should see me in the skirt) about the other place that DIS won't even allow us to type. To me, DIS has A) gotten too big; B) has too many mods that do things differently; and C) has a lot of unhappy folks with the administration/owners. Add to that the fact that there are a lot of folks on this site that simply cannot ignore something they disagree with, and BOOOOOOM. It's too the point where even lurking makes me mad. So long as I stay here with folks that like to have fun and play around a bit until I get banned, I'll stop by every day or so.

We arrived here at 12:30 with 3 children sommersaulting into their grandmother's house! After the ritualistic jumping on the beds, they fell asleep around 1:30. Up at 6:10....We should have a lovely afternoon touring Manhattan! esp around 2 pm. Meltdowns? The fortune teller says it is in our future.....

Don't forget to go see David Blaine in that Bubble of Water he's in!! I think your kids will get a kick out of that. Have a good time. Maybe taking a mid-afternoon break and go back to the resort, I mean Gram's house.

So nice of you to check in from NY. Hope the weather down there is better than it is here. Still raining and cold...yuk! NOT good touring weather. I did make it to the airport last night, and now have my e-tix in hand for the meet!! Now, if I could just get some points to rent.....

Question for you all about the free dining. I wasn't going to bother, since we were only going for the weekend, and I was planning to rent DVC (which I assume negates the Free Dining opportunity?) But now, it looks like we'll be staying 4 nights. Might it be worth paying for an extra night (even tho we won't use it) to get the free dining? I should've prefaced that with another question...it does require a 5 night stay, right? And what if I want to buy APs? Can I still do the free dining or does it have to me the whole "Magic Your Way" package deal? Am I stupid? Should I just call guest services or reservations or some other place? HELP!

Yepper, a girls' and Wesley weekend. Leaving at 6am tomorrow. And now I am rearranging my flippin' schedule because of a certain princess we know. Well, we don't really know her. It's a long story. But anyway, she's not going to be where we thought she was going to be on the days we thought she was going to be there. Didja get that? You have no idea how often Disney rearranges their CMs' schedules.

So. Good thing I finished most of my must-do-before-leaving work items yesterday. Today I will spend replanning the entire trip. Most of it, anyway.

Susan~not sure if it is different this year... but last year a friend and I got the free dining and we only stayed 3 nights. You talk about some flames... since Mark, Wesley and I were buying APs for this year, we wanted to use the second ticket (mine) from that trip for my friend's husband when we all went together in February. We must have had 6 CMs tell us that was fine. Then, something like 2 days before we go, another one says, nope, no way, can't do it. I posted on here asking how we could make it work, and everyone jumped on me, saying I was trying to "work the system", and it was people like me who... you know... was the cause of every problem in the known world. FINALLY, someone said I could just upgrade my 2 day ticket to an AP. No CM had ever offered that option, but it made sense. And that's what we did. But man was I burned to a crisp before we got to that conclusion. That's when I decided to stay on the TRB. And now I rarely go there, either. ANYWAY, I would double check about the length of stay, because it didn't affect us.

I woke up this morning singing Fins. You know, Jimmy Buffet. Is that better than Copacabana?
