I am GUTTED that I didn't book the DLH when it was the free HB deal. It would have been £1593 for 2 adults and 2 children. Our friends are going then so I am still looking.

Today the same date (14-18/2) is £1944.

I then spotted a 30% winter discount but it's not valid on our dates.

But if we go on the 13th for 5 nights it's £1464! So cheaper to travel down Thursday afternoon, sleep and then start the Friday early rather than travel and still have 4 nights. Madness!

We are going to Florida in August for a family reunion for which we have been saving for 4 years so shouldn't be looking, but we had such fun with our friends when we went last time that I want to go.

Decisions, decisions, decisions!!!!!

Its hard playing chicken with the prices for hotels and travel. I now just book hotel packages when I'm happy with the price & it fits my budget. Im debating playing chicken with flights with Ryanair next March but I'd be nervous out!
Have you looked at the Dutch, Irish & French sites?

Im looking to book for december and people mention about looking on other countries disney sites, how do you do that please. do you think prices are as good now as they are going to get or is it best to hang on in your experience please

For december dates i,d definitely wait ~ there were some proper 50% off deals around october last year for december dates.

If you type in disneylandparis.co.uk and down the bottom left hand side of the page you will see an option to change country. Then try a few different ones to get a good idea of what prices / offers are ongoing. Ireland, The Netherlands and France seem to be good to start with but you have a huge number to pick from so get loads of quotes before you book. I use xe.com to do currency conversions.
If you are having trouble with the page reverting to the .co.uk page then delete your internet history and cookies.

I don't know if I would wait to book - I go by what my budget allows and book when I'm happy. Flash 50% sales are not as common and its hard to predict whats going to come up. I book if I'm happy with the price.

Also sometimes disneylandparisdirect.com have slightly cheaper prices then disneylandparis.co.uk or .ie.
Myself and Donald Ducks Wife are booked through them for our trip next March and we saved £100 on our stay at the Cheyenne with Disneylandparisdirect.com versus booking with the Disneyland Paris website!!

I don't know if its just me (my bad timing lol!) but I've found cheapest offers for my dates tend to be the 1st ones released - like the 2+2 nights free offer with extra early booker discount or when they keep last winter prices on the initial offer. We've never gotten 50% off sales to correspond with our dates - that may be cause I'm tight and only tend to book for low season so its already a cheaper price though :rotfl:
It so hard to judge whens best to book but at least we are all in the one boat and if theres an offer this is the right place to find out about it :goodvibes

i think it is all down to timing - the reason i mentioned for barrington to wait for their planned trip in december, is that in october 2013 there was more than one great discount (and one of them was 50% off for 2 nights or more, which is almost unheard of) for November/December dates. I was seriously tempted because it would have been my cheapest trip booked through Disney ever :thumbsup2.

I'm going for 3 nights in April, so far there have been no good offers on the UK website for my dates (over £900 for Santa Fe for one adult, one under-7 - I don't think so :rotfl2:) - however on the French and Belgian site there is now an offer which, although its only a stated 35% discount, brings the price down to under £400, which is cheaper than I've seen for April/May/June onsite for a good 5 years - so I'll be booking that over the weekend, and cancelling my reservation at the Kyriad :).

Thats a brilliant price! I agree - £900 is ridiculous for 3 nights!!
We were a bit miffed when we discovered our January 2015 £340 bargain NPB 4 night stay was now costing like €750 having changed our booking to stay Nov this year instead.
£400 is a great price. We are over €1300 for May for 1 adult 1 U7 child at DLH (its kind of scares me as I've bought cheaper cars but the motto is "This is only a once off")
Lol I actually remember the total shock across the boards at 50% off for Nov/Dec!!
Hopefully we'll see more of these kinds of discounts :thumbsup2

I know, I hear ye all on the pricing madness!

I've been trying to book any break between March & November for 5 of us. Literally any break! any hotel on or off site, any offer minimum 3 nights. 1 of us is my dd who will turn 3 in May so before then we are 4 people and afterwards we are 5.

I have never paid more than €800 for even our Christmas trip but the cheapest I'm getting is €1,500! Without flights!

I even called reservations but no luck.

I'm hoping for a Flash 50% sale or else we'll never get to go again :scared:

Hey Rosa! Good to see you here again
Are you looking at weekends or weekdays? How old are you two eldest?x

try the french or belgian sites rosabelle, and go before your daughter turns 3 :).

I was more shocked about it costing £500 less to go for an extra night!

4 nights on Friday = £1900ish
5 nights ion Thursday = £1400ish.

That's what I call madness!

not really - Friday and Saturday check-in is usually more expensive anyway, plus Friday would be the start of the half term in England as well as France this year. The price you pay for your whole trip at DLP depends on what day of the week, and what season of the month/year (low/mid/high) it starts on.

Hiya :goodvibes

Well I've been utterly gobsmacked this morning! I've decided if its all mental expensive then I might as well pick a time we'd like so we're gonna go for Haloween as we've never been then :wizard:.

However I checked for prices this morning and for 3 ad/2 ch in 1 or 2 rooms for 4nights I got the incredible price of €4,650!!! :scared1:! That was for the SF!

When I called reservations they quoted me €1,470 for the SL in the adapted room (2 rooms really).

Isn't that bananas
