The Mad(die) Hatter's Birthday - First Attempt @ Trip Report

I'm just popping in here to let you know that I am really enjoying this TR!

Thank you for taking the time to write it and post the photos!

I don't have allergies, but I think I must be getting some. I have a lump in my throat and my eyes are watering. It happened right after I read about Madeline and her magical meal in the castle with the princesses.

Weird. I'll have to get that checked.

Of course it couldn't be because I have a Madeline too. And I remember the first time we went to the castle to eat. My Madeline is 19 now. And is far away from home pursuing her degree. But, I remember the first time she visited Cinderella in her castle. And you always will too!

I hope that you continue to enjoy every moment that you have with your Madeline.

And, I hope that there is more to come in your TR!

This is just a great trip report you had me tearing up a couple of times. We are leaving in 9 days for the Fort and it will be my daughters 1st time at Disney as well as her birthday so I am sure I am going to be a big ole blubbering mess. Most of the trip. Add pregnancy hormones in there and I am just done for. LOL!!

Can't wait to here more it has been great so far.

Thanks! Writing this is a lot more fun than I thought it would be, it just takes a lot of time. And photography is a hobby for me....I took 724 pictures on this trip and was lamenting the day we left that I was just over 200 shy of what I took last year!

That happened to me once, so what I do is type my TR is Word, then cut and paste into the DIS, add my pics and done. If anything happens while trying to post, I still have everything in Word.

Definitely a lesson learned. I started the newest update today, so I hope to finish it tomorrow and then paste it here. Thanks for the recommendation.

You are correct. Directly in front of the castle is not the best plan for viewing the fireworks.

Correct again. You did manage to get some good, no...GREAT shots of Wishes.

However, of all the pics this one is my fave.....

ABSOLUTELY GAWJUSS!!!! Terrific Terrific Terrific !!!!

And the WORST part was that it was the ONLY time we saw Wishes that week!!! I didn't know that at the time either. I just love that show.
That picture of Maddie is funny to me. She looks just a tad bit sassy. But thank you!!

OH.MY.GOODNESS.
I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy! THE TCD is enjoying my trip report. My work here is done!
Yeah, please get your allergies checked. Cuz my report on our trip to Epcot is gonna make you wanna break out the nebulizer. It's a couple of days away though, so you've got time to call in your meds.

Trust me when I say, I have learned the hard way in the last 11 months that life is a gift, it's precious, and you have to enjoy it because in the end, all you have is memories. I adore my Madeline, in case you couldn't tell, and am so glad that I get to relive our trip through typing my trip report. Makes me want to drag it out a little bit.....but I won't. And I know that all too soon, in a time that will feel like it's tomorrow, MY Madeline will be as grown as YOUR Madeline. It goes by too fast, doesn't it???
