I didnt win this time but my best friend did.....a whole $56. We are going out to lunch tomorrow.

Teresa, at a garage sale 2 weeks ago, I got a brand new Barbie bunko set for $2! It comes in a cute little case and has pink dice! I haven't played Bunko in years, so I don't even remember how to play. But I thought the set was cute (even if it is Barbie).

Night all. Here is a late night snack if you get hungry.

I wonder if that is the set we use. Is the case round? I dont remember seeing the actual barbie but we use pink dice. You really need to start playing. We play once a month and pay $10. We play with 12 people so the pot is nice to split 5 ways...most bunko, most wins, most losses, most mini bunko, last bunko

We didnt loose power but it did flicker some. I love the rain but not the lightening

It seems like I"m always just missing you! You don't smell, and if I were on when you were I promise I wouldn't ignore you! :teeth: I wanna hear the walmart story, sister!

Well here goes (just cause you asked) :lmao:

I have some major issues with Walmart (don't get me started). But today, yikes. I go to pick up a few things including :ssst: underwear for upcoming vacation for Jimmy. I was so excited to find them in his size (we're talking very, very excited). I get home and he tries them on. They go back. Walmart sells undies for boys without flies? Am I living in the dark ages (possibly) or what? :confused3 I've never seen this before. :sad2:

So I take them back and the woman asks what's wrong. I tell her and she looks at me and says "I wouldn't buy underwear at Walmarts." Well, now I certainly won't either.

I picked up a couple more things, check out and on my way out the "greeter" lady stops me. Picture this. I know just about everyone around here. This woman is screaming for me to stop. She grabs my bag and my receipt and starts going through everything. Then she says, "oh it's the vitamins." Takes my stuff, writes something down and throws everything back at me. No apologies, no politeness. Pretty nasty. I know Walmart sometimes puts microchips for inventory in their packaging, but da _ _ it!!!! These were One-A-Day. I spent the extra money. Now I'm a criminal.

I think I'm done now.

I wish we would just get the rain. Our power goes out if it smells lightening heading our way. My hobby is resetting all the clocks. I think we need to get rid of some, who needs to know the time anyway? :confused3

We didn't get to try Mary's Quiche as DH brought home Pizza last night :sad2:
so it's on tonites menu ::yes::

i'm dying to try this!!!!

Good morning!

I would just like to start by quoting Disneyrsh (Robin). This post (from a dearly departed thread) CRACKED me up, both the first and second times I read it. :lmao:

"The tag fairy, trying valiantly to keep up with the craziness, has now collapsed in a sparkly heap on the floor of her fairy abode.

The webmaster is swearing grimly as he blows and fans the server, from which curlicues of white smoke begin to emanate...

And I'm regretting that big cup of tea I drank.

And, I have to add, of course:

nipples."

GOOD ONE, ROBIN!! :thumbsup2

Well, I sure hope that when the Tag Fairy gets up and dusts her/himself off, then make a visit to me. I only say witty things once in a while, and my few and far between witty statments are being missed.

On a better note, Good morning to all. I spent the day with my girls and DH yesterday. He took off for the dentist. I was supposed to paint, but I never made it there, I guess there is today.

Hi Mary! Well, you could always try proposing to the Tag Fairy like that one guy did. . . .

Chili's Chicken Enchilada Soup

1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 lb. of chicken breast fillets (approx. 3 fillets. Bonnie uses canned chicken)
1/2 cup diced onion
1 clove garlic, pressed
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup masa harina
3 cups wate
1 cup enchilada sauce
16 oz Velveeta
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin

Garnish:
shredded cheddar cheese
crumbled corn tortilla chips
pica del gallo

1. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to a large pot over medium heat. Add chicken breasts to pot and brown for 4-5 minutes per side. Set chicken aside.

2. Add onions and garlic to pot and saute over medium heat for about 2 minutes.

3. Combine masa harina with 2 cups of water in a medium bowl and whisk until blended. Add masa mixture to pot with onions, garlic and broth.

4. Add remaining water, enchilada sauce, cheese and spices to pot and bring mixture to boil.

5. Shred the chicken into small, bite-size pieces and add it to the pot. Reduce heat and simmer soup for 30-40 minutes or until thick.

6. Serve soup in cups or bowls, and garnish with shredded cheese, chips, and pico de gallo.

I told Jay I would post that recipe and I didn't want to forget!

Hi, Teresa!! How are you?

:wave2: Hi. I could use a tea party right about now. :) You ever feel like you're just getting kicked while you're already down? That's how I feel right now. I think this tea party is just what I need.
