Minty, the job interview was okay. I have to go back next week and do a little mini lesson to show how I interract with the kids. I'm not that excited about it. She also said that the current Kinder teacher might not quit after all, would I be interested in teaching the 4's. I don't think so.

well if you're not excited about it then you don't have the nervous apprehension about whether you'll get it or not and you can be calm and relaxed for your mini lesson. I'm sure the kids will love you!

Well its not classes really, just learning from a book at home, but its not bad. The best part is that no one is there to ridicule you if you screw up

Johnny is great. Smokin as usual. I saw his new movie over the weekend. It was fantastic. I want to see it again and again. But I need to have some serious words with Keira.

I'm trying to catch up. Looks like we've had a very busy day on this thread. It rained for hours, we did lose power, I said a couple of muffled curse words (the kids were around) and Jim had to fire up the grill -- again. Luckily we had some steaks marinating, so dinner was taken care of.

I need to get rid of some clocks, because I'm tired of resetting them every night (LOL).

It's a good thing we're prepared. The sunshine state is not so sunny as the vacation gurus would like everyone to think. We've had major storms every night this week. I'm so damp, getting moldy. It's not pretty. I think I need my own deodorant before I chat with you all. Wait, here comes some now.

I think I caught up, I read very fast. Sorry the interview didn't go that great. Follow your instincts. If it doesn't feel right, wait for something else. Teachers are a pretty hot property and we can afford to be a little picky. The world needs us!

So you're gonna be teaching middle school again this coming year, right? Do you have your masters? I only have my bachelors.
