Omelets are good, we have breakfast for dinner at least once a month. I love it. I also make quiche which is pretty easy and doesn't heat up the kitchen too much.

am I wrong? I saw a thread about a kid having shaving cream put in her suitcase at camp and everyone is saying that it's vandalism. I just thought those sorts of things were always done at camp?

i stayed out of this thread the minute i opened it, b/c everyone including OP were totally over-reacting. This happens at camp i agree with you! Everyone gets picked on. She switched rooms and that's that. i didn't understand the whole she hates me thing. doesn't someone always hate someone else at that age?? at any age?? i mean i'm sure people on the DIS can't stand me!! ;) well maybe not i'm pretty funny :lmao: alright i'm back to normal now :)

ooo SPACE, i looove KFC, their Mashed is my fave! :lmao: i'm not a chicken fan i just love their mashed and Mac N Cheese!

I love the mashed and mac and cheese too but I really love the potato wedges. I know they're bad for you, but they're sooo good!

You know my daughter leaves for camp on Monday, adn I have told her that some silly pranks may happen to her, and she and her best friend (who is going also) are prepared for pranks. And my kid is pretty easy going so I don't worry too much about her. My DH is going with the Youth of our church to Centrifuge (Youth Bible Camp) as a chaperone, I'm more worried about him causing trouble with the kids and so forth.
I do think that if you post something that is asking for opinions or if you post an opinion you are openning yourself up for a flame from one side or another. Life is just relative, its just all in how you handle it.

Hi guys....

what's camp w/o shaving cream? You might as well stay home. The cheaper the better....Barbasol was THE brand as I recall.

Read 1st pg of vomit thread..... have to get back to that one.

Started the Ebay one earlier but couldn't get into it. May have to try it again.

This is one busy thread. Welcome back Minty. So Cols was HOT huh? I'm so jealous.

The long and short of the dr's appt..... lost 10 lbs in 6 weeks: NOT GOOD; lung function down but in the range is has been: SO SO; not been feeling well and all but hey they gave me the OK to go back to work PRN so maybe we can pay some bills. YEA!!!!!!! Oh, and my fav nurse who seems to know me best and who I really trust..... is leaving.

I spent my day going to and from the dr's office :moped: so I haven't had time to  :stir: :dance3: or anything fun.

Oh, Sarah..... I did read the destroyed garden thread. Your DH was so funny. And yes, they wanted to call out the Nat'l Guard on these ppl.

What's new?

It is really easy to make, I'll PM you a recipe if you want. Just let me know, it is one of the easiest things I know how to do. You just set it and forget it, then boom its done.

Hi Mary,
The omelets were a change-of-pace but not what I wanted. When Bonnie, Jay and I started this, I was off to make dinner. No of us could make any suggestions and Jay posted this gorgeous turkey dinner. Long story short, I said I was grilling hot dogs. My DH said tuna, which was my last post before I signed off and I wound up with breakfast. Don't you feel caught up now? :rotfl2:

Better yet, I'll just tell you how I make it.

1 9" uncooked pie crust
5 - 6 eggs, depending on size
1/2 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350. Mix eggs and milk together. Then add in any ingredients you want. We like, chives, ham, and a variety of shreaded cheese. Pour mixture into pie crust, bake approx. 30 min. or until center has set. Then you are done.

Mary that was FAB! thanks so much!!!!!
You're Welcome, I hope your DH likes it. We love it, even the kids and mine can be picky over how something looks. If I can just get them to close their eyes and then taste, I am usually ok. But if they look at it and it looks weird I've lost them. :confused3

I'm sure my cholesterol will not forgive me, but this is going to be dinner tomorrow night. I'm borrowing your recipe, Mary. No (to borrow means to return (teaching lesson 101)), I am taking your recipe. :thanks: I will give you full credit :teeth:

But if they look at it and it looks weird I've lost them.

Don't you just hate that? Then later they try it, the convulsions stop, their head stops rotating and they declare "hey, that's not bad." :furious:

Thanks for the recipe. We may be having quiche for dinner tomorrow. :thumbsup2
