Thanks everyone.

DH's dad has a problem with his liver, he can't process the blood properly so his body creates new veins or something...and they are near his esophagus and are easily nicked. They said that this problem won't stop until he gets a liver transplant, but they won't put him on the list because he is not critical enough.

So what does he have to do? Start bleeing out of his eyes? I know there has to be criteria for transplants...but those places aggravate the hell out of me. I know a convicted child molester who got a heart transplant. I know, I know, PC and all that........but come on.....did he have a heart when it came to kids?

I know, I just don't get it. This is his third episode, over the last couple of years...It has to be really hard on his body...it completely wipes him out.

I'm not sure if you guys will remember....a few weeks back I mentioned that my DH's mother wanted to have our son spend the night (she is a few hours away) and I wasn't going to allow it unless one of us was with him--various issues.

Well, DH and DS are supposed to be going this weekend--he's got to check with his mom because she wasn't feeling well earlier. If they do go, I will be alone all weekend....what will I do with myself?

My DF has had to get several transfusions over the last few months, and just the transfusion makes him ill...... Hugs for you and your family.
