Drew was being mr. nastypants last night, Kar. It poured the whole night, but we still got around to get some goodies from our neighbors. I had a great time passing out treat bags and glow necklaces! The kids were all soaked but didn't seem to care!

Hey Paige....I need your help

I'm writing a special ed Reading Unit for a class. I need to pick a specific disablitiy and plan my unit around that. I picked 3rd grade level but need a disability...it can be a type of LD, BD, or mental impairment. Any suggestions??? And remember, I'm trying to think of something that will be relatively easy to modifiy lesson.

I took a glow bracelet away from a kid today...............and 3 spider rings, one yoyo, two flashing lights, one rubber bat and umpteen candies. They all went back home with the kids at the end of the day though.............

No, actually, we had allot of company last night so I was not really even on the DIS but for a little while posting on a few Threads.

Then got on the computer this morning 9-ish and noted the time I got my PM!!! She sent it to me at 3AM. MOMMYTOTWO...she sent out millions to people all over the DIS...she is a sweetie

DH said our house was the talk of the town. Everyone loved the necklaces, and those who didn't have them were trying to figure out where they came from! I also had a bubble machine shaped like a pumpkin that lit up and blew bubbles all over the yard and sidewalk. I know that I will need tons more necklaces for next year.

Did you ever see Ralphie's "A Christmas Story"...and when the teacher opens her desk drawer...OMG...there are one million little toys and trinkets she has collected from all her students...

I that movie too....they run it 24 hours starting on Christmas Eve here in MA and it is based in Cleveland and we lived in Cleveland once....

I JUST LOVE IT!!! My sister HAS to watch "Its A Wonderful Life" every year and I have to watch "A Christmas Story"!!!

Most of it goes right back to them...........occasionally with repeat offenders, I do keep them in a drawer just like that........and they get them back at the end of the year, unless parents come in to get it.

I had one kid a few years ago. I took his Yu-Gi-Oh cards............he was suspended later that same day. His mom brought him up the next day WHILE HE WAS SUSPENDED..........big no-no, and OUT OF UNIFORM in a BRAND NEW Spiderman shirt she'd bought him that very day, just to get his cards for him.
