One story Steph, just for you.................
I think I was 11 or 12. My younger brother and I helped dad deliver some calves. Afterwards, he decided we had waited too long for lunch and he needed a candy bar, so we stopped at a grocery store. We all went in, he got his candy bar. But there were people getting carts full and he didn't want to wait, so he went to the service desk lady and told her he wanted to buy the candy bar. She said he'd have to go to a register. He yelled that he wasn't going to stand in any blankety blank line you blankety blankety, he wanted his candy bar right now!!!! She repeated he had to go to a line. He took some change out of his pocket and THREW it at her, ripped the paper off the candy bar and took a bite, and said "There you go, you ..........There's your money and I just ate the candy, so NOW what are you gonna do?" He stalked out of the store, and I gathered the money off the floor and gave it to her. She was crying.
Yep, I've always been the parent..................
No, no more stories..........begging won't help..............
