I will be Scrooge and say I am happy when it's all over with. Its just that where we live the tourists don't go home till January.....And we all live for that time when they leave and we get our town back for a couple of months.

Oh we have that too! In Colonial Williamsburg, we have Grand Illumination and all the touristy stuff that they did in Colonial times at Christmas and we also have 2 outlet shopping areas so, we have a ton of tourists. I love when they go home too. It is quiet from Jan 1 until spring break and it all starts all over again.

Thanks........and thanks Stephie. He decided this am he wanted to be a clown. I had to throw it together. We had the wig and tie and make-up, so I put his robin costume on him backwards and his suit jacket over it.

Hey it worked! Homemade costumes are the best kind IMO. Of course trying to convince my kids of that is a whole other story..

Hey it worked! Homemade costumes are the best kind IMO. Of course trying to convince my kids of that is a whole other story..

I was thrilled. I just love the cutesy stuff, and he's one that's been hard to do cutesy with, having the big brother............

We get tons of those! They are all here to learn about our country's history by touring the Colonial area and Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Battlefield.

Please ignore the blue hanger.....DH thinks that it belongs there and we are having a battle of wills over it. I am NOT moving it. I am not the maid....

Okay....I have to say that my family is sooo lucky to have our friends and their parents in our lives. We are so far away from our family and these guys are our second family. Their parents have our kids call them G.G. and Poppy just like their real grandkids do. And tonight they gave ALL my girls a nice warm winter coat (which My girls have never had to own until now) and a hand-knitted scarf and gloves. We were worried about how to afford new warm attire for the whole family right now (we never told them that though), and they went ahead and got the girls covered. So nice of them!!

We had a blast at their house (the granparents). They have a million dollar home and it was ALL decked out all halloweenish. By far the best house in the whole neighborhood. It was so much fun.
