She only tells me it's all good to stop me from being worried about her! I swear...too thoughtful for her own good! BUT...it may be the same...however it's not a bother to hear again...some things take more then one day to get over...it doesn't make them any less worthy of talking about!!!!

I plan to cover it with foil and push it far back on the counter. They aren't allowed on the counteer and their bathroom is upstairs.

Everyone is to bring a pumpkin for pumpkin carving and a covered dish. DH and I will provide meat and I will make the cat litter pan cake. I can't wait for that. I have 2 cats so it will be fun to see the look on their faces before I tell them whats in it. DH said not to let the cats see it so that they dont get confused.

Eeeewwww! My mom made that with my boys last Spring Break! It was sooo gross looking! (and they LOVED it.............)

It's rather depressing thread Kar, another poster came on dealing with some issues with her family.........similar to my issues, so I started trying to talk her through it, and several other people came. It's a bunch of us who don't seem to "fit" well in our families.................

Well, you know many people come on the DIS and talk to each other and get some fabulous advice from just chatting back and forth esp when there are issues such as yours with mom!

PAige, the sentence I highlighted..have you only felt this way since the accident...or before...because from what you have said in re: to the accident, it sounds as though everyone involved in the accident should be sort of relieved that they basically are okay...I know you said mom still struggles with her hips but still she is here and managing...but I am still leaning towards depression.
