Same here. It always looks like a tornado hit it. In my defense I also have a DH and 2 cats. You wouldn't believe the mess 2 little cats can make.

Of course! I used to be a nanny so I know the mess kids can make! My mom was always yelling at us to clean our room. Of course she was kinda anal about it. My room would be clean but I would have some jewelry on my dresser instead of the jewelry box and I would get in trouble for not cleaning my room.

We never messed our rooms up.............we only slept in them, other than that we worked when not in school. My parents had a business and a working farm.

So I have nothing to base anything on. My older son always keeps his room tidy and I don't have to tell him to clean........really unusual fora kid with ADHD to do that.............my younger one, you'd need a backhoe to clean.

We have had so much rain lately. There was none forever and then boom..........two days of rain.

I have been too sick to go enjoy it.

Isn't that weird? Others make time to enjoy sunshiny days.............Texans make time to enjoy rainy days...............

Of course, you're on the coast, so you probably get more rain than we do.

You'd be suprised. We get about the same about as you do. Last Oct was awful. It would be sunny all week and then rain all weekend. It was like that all month. I enjoy the rain though since it's been awhile here. Last time it rained, it flooded my street and got in my car, brand new car! I had had it for a week! I was mad but DH did a great job of drying it out and you can't tell now.

Stupid cat. We have the windows open, and the cat got up on the window screen, pushed it out and was on the outside sill. Since he pushed it OUT I had to go outside to get him. He was scared to death.........he's never been outside in his life. He thinks he wants to go, but I know he'll panic if he ever gets out there, and then he'll get lost.

Hi Steph Sounds like something my dumb cats would do. They got to go outside today because it was raining and therefore I didnt think they would get off the porch. 1 was smart and didnt. The other cat who hisses if so much as a drop of water hits her was out in the rain eating grass.

Yes, apparently in my neck of the woods and Kim's...........we are quite far apart.........I'm closer to you actually.

My dog won't go out in the rain. We have to push him out to go to the bathroom, and he really won't go. He just holds it.

Mine are the same. You open the back door, and they look at you like "What? I'm not going out in that. If you don't go, I don't have to go."
