That reminds me of my dad when he divorced his second wife. My sister and I went for our summer visit following his divorce, and there was a cutout of a Halloween witch riding a broom on the wall. Dad said that was the only photo of her he had left, so he hung it up.....

So, have I told you that I have the best class I have ever taught??? That's a happy subject! I can't say a lot of specifics, but they are fantastic kids, and the three parents that came to conferences today got an earful of praise............

My job is weird. I kind of have a teacher's position, but my pay and benefits are even worse than a teacher's if you can imagine. I am a social worker, but I teach social skills, anger management, etc., to kids at a public high school.

I don't know what to say......oh yeah your a nut.
I have to be PC sometimes or I will get booted off here. Plus I hate to offend people unknowingly. I prefer to know I am offending them.

WOW. That sounds like a job and a half. I have a lot of respect for teachers/and others who work with kids.

My brother worked in OKC as a one-on-one...................he went to school with the kids who couldn't handle class, and sat with one kid all day........he was there to wrestle the kid out of the class if they went berserk.......

Then he worked in an out patient psych unit..........same kinds of kids but even worse, they were completely kicked out of the schools............

He met Sis in law doing that.................they were both child/adolescent therapists.........


I don't know why I told you all that, except it seemed pertinent at the time I started it.............

That's cool! I need to go back and get my master's so I can be a therapist. In all my free time, I just can't seem to fit school in.

I think you are right! We had to be a little off to think it was a good idea to enter this field to begin with. Then the kids push us the rest of the way over....
