we used to before we had the kids. sometimes it could get pricey!

last set of cards i bought were the 1990 upper deck and topps.

Yes, I'm enjoying the peace and quiet. I'll probably do a lot of sleeping today.

DH has been collecting cards and memorabilia since he was a kid. Today he is actually selling in the card show. That thrills him. I don't get it.

He sure does love Baseball. His favorite team is the Dodgers.

i am a big baseball fan as my DH is also.
that is what we had in common when we first met.

has your DH ever been Cooperstown, NY?
he would love it!
i've been there at least 25 times.
we used to go when they induct the players into the hall of fame.

my dh plays in baseball tournament every Sept for a week.
that's it was so easy for me to go away with the ladies.

i want to go back!!!!

No, DH has always wanted to go to Cooperstown, but as of yet, he has not been. It should be a little easier now that we live on this side of the country. But there are TONS of places we still want to see.

Did you room with another lady, or did you get a room to yourself? If you did have a roomie, was it awkward?

Oh good! I always worry that when you actually meet other DISers in person, it is awkward and uncomfortable.

Although, we did a DIS meet on our last cruise and it was a BLAST having people to hang out with the whole week! That was 3 years ago, though.

Although, we did a DIS meet on our last cruise and it was a BLAST having people to hang out with the whole week! That was 3 years ago, though.

We participated in a DIS meet on our cruise. We only met up with one other family, but we had a wonderful time chatting with them! The kids bonded wonderfully!

meeting the disers didn't feel as awkward as i though it would.
but we were so bust, we all wish we had more down time and get to know
one another even more.

FWIW, I just met up with a bunch of Disers last week in WDW. It was a blast! Not awkward aat all and we LOAO the entire time!

Bronchitis. I've had it for days. And my lungs started hurting a week ago, so I knew it was coming. I'm in the wheezing and rattling of the lungs, phase. Plus a lot of coughing.
