How's it going everyone? Here's an update on Amber: Everything went very well. This morning she was crying because she didn't know what to expect. That was most frightening to her. Well, when we arrived, she wanted me to come into the room with her while they gave her the laughing gas, but they wouldn't allow it. So, she said that they gave her laughing gas, and tried to hook one IV in her right arm, but she said the dentist kept telling her to stop moving and crying, so they had to put it in the left arm, and they finally got it in. After that, she said, it was a blur. Well, afterwards, we stopped at Starbucks and I got a coffee and she got a blueberry muffin and an ice water. While in line, she opened her door and started gagging (sorry if that was TMI.) But, she was fine. We got her home and she slept until now, with only a few times when I woke her up for her to drink and take a pain pill. She just woke up, and is watching TV. Thanks for all of the good wishes, Mad Chatters! We love you guys!

SO glad to hear that Amber is doing so well! :cool1: :sunny: :cheer2: :yay: .

Stupid rules. I think they should have let you stay with her until she had the laughing gas going or even had the IV started. GRRRR...stupid rules.

But once again...SO VERY GLAD that she is doing well! I hope she continues on this course and is back to 110% in no time at all! :):)

Jay! How are you?

Doing well. Got a load of groceries today, got two of the zillion loads of laundry I have to do done, got the couches vaccumed off in the family room (I guess our dog was allowed on any furniture he wanted while we were gone), put out some of halloween decorations and even got some DISing done earlier...so a very productive day here.

The above post is sort of a job description. I am lucky enough to be able to stay home with the boys. And I am crazy enough to home school them. It's not always all fun...but it is always interesting! ;) :rotfl:

Ok, call me stupid or whatever you want, but what in the world is cremation jewelry. I just have never heard of it.

First of all, you are NOT stupid. Cremation jewelry, that most often come in necklaces are jewelry where you can place a small amount of cremated remains in. For example, we have a heart necklace that we can place a very small amount of cremated remains in. :goodvibes

For about 5 minutes now. The present Jason bought needs to get to the birthday party (along with Jason) in a few minutes. Which means I get to be taxi mom for a bit. Then I have to make/serve/eat/clean up some dinner. After that, I will be back! :)

Denise, I have been meaning to thank you for your cruise tips email. They came in very handy on the cruise! The only thing you forgot to mention was the seriously horrible feeling you feel when they make you leave the ship! :rotfl2:
