I love your pic in your siggie! Is that you and your DH?
Yep that was us on our wedding day. We went in search of one of the those photo booths that takes 4 pictures in a row. We had a unique wedding but at least our marriage has been nice and normal. :)

Yes I live in East Tennessee. We live just a short drive from the Great Smoky Mountains. They are beautiful the tourist town we live in isn't. I haven't been to Ok. before.

It is FLAT. When I visited here, before I moved, I couldn't figure out what was missing. It was the mountains on the horizon. I was used to the "mountains" in Al. More like hills to you. :teeth:

Tulsa is pretty boring. My kids go to a great school, but other than that, there is not a whole lot I can say to recommend it.

Ooops I need to read the question better. I was talking about the avatar not the siggie picture. The siggie picture was taken at MGM in the villians store. Sorry.

How so? I sooooo wish that I had done something memorable for our wedding instead of the traditional forgettable wedding. Actually, I wish we had just done a justice of the peace thing and spent the money on a mondo vacation, but the family would have been upset....

It was verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyy stressful. My parents did not want us to get married. They thought that I was being crazy because this wasn't someone they would have picked for me. They didn't care that we were both 24 ( not kids) and that we knew we loved eachother. We ended up rushing the wedding in hopes that they would quit putting so much pressure on us to break up. So we moved our wedding way up. We had to spend all our money on renting an apartment here and getting set up in it. So we had a very cheap wedding. With only about 25 people-family and the friends who had been there for us. My DH's father married us. Which was nice ( they didn't mind us getting married just my parents). And I swear the moment it was over it was all ok. My parents love my DH now. Sometimes I think more than me. Sorry for the long story. I tried to make it the short version. :)

No problem! That is wonderful that it all worked out! So many people get stuck on the wedding and forget that there is a marriage to go along with it. Sounds like you 2 really love each other! I know what you mean about parents liking DH more than you. My mom told me at the rehearsal dinner that if my marriage didn't work out, she knew it wouldn't be DH's fault! I was sure to thank her for all of her maternal support. :rotfl:

Did Bonnie recruit you to our thread? She is the queen of the DIS, I swear. She can be in 15 different places at one time and make you feel like you are the only person in the world she is talking to. That girl has skillz!

I wish I could do that. I am usually lost. I just wonder around looking for threads that interest me. I was bored and had wondered for a long time what this thread was about so I stopped by. The only thread I am a regular on is the Orlando Bloom thread. I have met some great DISers over there.

Me too. I have tried to chat on multiple threads, and I can usually handle a couple, but that is my max. I end up looking like I am ignoring people.

I understand that. So if you go missing I will know what happened and I won't think your ignoring me. My problem is I feel like I am butting in if the thread is already going strong. And I don't want to get in the way. Thats just me though.

I have been on a couple of threads where I felt that way. I guess some have been chatting a really long time, and don't feel the need to increase their circle of friends....

The only thing I worry about here is taking over the conversation. I try to be conscious of who is on and include everyone, and I am guilty of not always doing that when I get on a roll with some of my closer chatters....I need to work on that.

Yes so people seem happy with their small circle of friends on here. Thankfully though most people are pretty nice.

Off topic but I am sitting her wondering how many cookies are too many cookies to have for breakfast. And yes I am eating breakfast at 12:50pm. :sad2: My weekend has been all outta whack.

LOL, too many is when you feel stuffed!

Off topic too, and I hope you are a dog person.....Isn't this hilarious? :rotfl:
