So, I get to the copy room, and there this chick is...........the one who told me I had to stay with my class.......NOT with her class, wherever they are, as the program is over..............and using the copier to make BOOKLETS on MY copy time!

So, does she stop when she sees me with 8 little pages in my hand? You guessed it! Nope! She says, "I'll be just 5 more minutes" and when those booklets stop, she STARTS ANOTHER WHOLE SET OF BOOKLETS! The nerve you say! Well, I agree, that's what I said!

Um, so anyway, I, um, waited until she was done and did my 8 copies and left....................she was still there when I left, by the by, and it took about 30 seconds....................

That's it.

Kind of a lame story, but no one else was saying anything..................

We have a copy team at our school. We have two voluteers who come in every day, two hours each. One in the am and one in the pm, and they do all the copying for all teachers. The copying goes to the office in a red folder with copy instructions and it has a 24 hr. turn around time. That is actually how I got my job, I was volunteering in the class/es for both DDs and I was on the copy team. The office got to know me and asked me to come work as a contract sub.

I'm ok, just a little sleepy. I worked in the Special Ed class today for the upper elementary aged kids. Not bad kids but very tough to work in.
