I hear ya Minty! I got hooked last summer. I read all 6 books in a week and a half. I almost did nothing but work and read. I kind of hate that I did that though, because I get everything all confused now.

You know, there were all the midnight lines and craziness at the bookstores when Book 6 came out.................I waited until midnight, drove to our local Walmart, picked one up off the huge pallets full that were in the middle aisles, checked out and drove home. I left at 12:10, by 12:30 I was reading. Dh thought I was funny, but I wanted it right away, but didn't want to do the crazy lines. I had just gone to see if it wasn't too busy. There were several checkers open, only about 6 people checking out and all of us with the book! It was smoooooth...........

We will be buying multiples here. Everyone in our house (6 people) read it, and none of us have even a modicum of patience.

But before the cheerful stuff, have you heard about the CO school situation?

My oldest brother lives in CO. He used to live in Littleton, but they moved outside somewhere (don't remember the name of the nearest town as I've not visited up there since the move).............but his kids are too old for high school..........they're in college or already out with their own families. My sister still lives in Littleton.

Can I just say that teenage boys are a pain in the butt! Well, the ones I work with anyway.

Is CO where her contract wasn't renewed because of taking the kids to the museum?

No, she's not a teacher, she's a nurse.

That chick lives in Frisco, Texas and I don't know her.

No, in CO there's a school shooter holed up with two hostages. The rest of the kids were evacuated, but parents don't know where. They don't know who the shooter is and they don't know who the hostages are, just that they're female.

This has been such a day that I think I am going for the double whammy. Hot chocolate mix in coffee.

Anyway, this place is like 45 miles from Denver and about the same from Littleton, where my sister lives. Since I don't know my brother's town, it could be close to him.............but his youngest is in college now, so they wouldn't be involved................

DRIVING.....He doesn't even have a permit, but then I think that SIL takes him to a parking lot to drive. Stay off the roads for a while.

I sure hope that everyone is ok in CO. I worry when I hear things like this.

That is so scary. That is my fear that one day one of the kids that I work with is going to flip out and shoot up the school.
