Williams Sonoma...the store is so expensive. Sis thought this would be so awesome to have for Xmas...which it was...but not being able to finish the can that expires so quickly is CRAZYYYYY

That store is expensive. We got a gift certificate for a wedding present, but we never used it. Everything that I might use was way more than the $50 gift certificate, and the things in that price range were things I would never use. We kept meaning to go back, but never did.

Oh, I always get so jealous of my brothers-in-law and their families who live in the same town as MIL and go over to eat EVERY night, too! I would love to have that option! Though, as dh says, we'd all weigh 400 lbs!!!!!

Check and see, Kim, if there is a exp date on them. I hate the thought of throwing this can away but I never thought to check expiration on it soooo at least I could keep the TIN, that looks to be worth something...

I have been to that store ONCE...way tooo pricey for meeee

We have one in Williamsburg too, I go in at Christmas just to look around and see how the better half lives. And to see what they have out as gift giving ideas.

I think we all gained more weight when we moved. I try to cook often, but we eat tons more fast food than we used to, so we all gained a little. Well, except my youngest, but she who never sits still burns everything off.

My MIL lives on the other side of the state, and that is just fine with me. I couldn't eat at her house every day either, I'd be 400 lbs as would DH.

Kar, I don't see why that still wouldn't be good..........either they think you won't buy more unless you have it when it's REALLY fresh, or they just want you to buy new each season!

Paige: it is not in individual packages. It is one big plastic bag inside a decorative TIN. On the bottom: "Best Before/ Meilleur Avant: JL 2006"
not sure what the highlighted portion means...

I had every intention of keeping this until it got cold and drinking it....

I did OPEN the original bag and have had it closed up tightly all summer...

What do you all think...keep it or toss it!!!

And not to mention that ridiculous PRICE for this size can....

My brother told us last year to get him anything from there..........all we could afford was a bottle of liquid smoke..........22.50!

I could've bought him a SMOKER at Walmart for that!

Well, now you know you can easily BUY 2 1/2 cans of Hot Chocolate and then proceed to drink it in SIX MONTHS....

OMG...ITA !!! I had an outfit on this weekend with the girls and everyone asked where I got the TOP and then the Sweater over the TOP...TOP was Wal-Mart and Sweater was K-Mart...I kid you not...they all looked at me like...."r e a llllllllly, K" and I said REALLY and I was proud of how nice it looked.

I will say I wash EVERYTHING I buy at Wal-Mart/KMart/Target in my gentle cycle and line dry....keeps them around a tad bit longer!!!

I missed the news again. Since I started Dissing, I only see the CNN headlines when I log in and hear the talk radio guys discussing things.........oh, and threads on the CB sometimes.........but when this thread is hopping I don't even get over there............

I am much calmer now without all that stuff crowding my brain...........
