Good morning, Mad Chatters! Denise was here and I MISSED her?

Yesterday Brent and I went to see World Trade Center, which was good, and we snuck into the last 30 minutes of Little Miss Sunshine. What we saw was not good. I was surprised cause everyone said it was so great. Maybe the good stuff happens in the first 2/3 of the movie? Then we went to Target and got the girls a few more things for school. It starts tomorrow!

What's everyone else up to? We're staying home today, I believe!

Woo hoo! I'm on at the same time as Denise!!!

World Trade Center was pretty good. It didn't show much of the 9/11 events, it was a story within that story. It was the story of some trapped men and their worried families. It was still a tear-jerker though.

Nope, the girls are not excited about school. Ains is scared of Kindergarten and the other two are nervous about making friends at a new school.

We're staying home today. Too poor. We were going to go into DC and do the Air and Space Museum but we are just going to save the money and relax. After buying the kids some clothes yesterday, we are poor.

Today we're staying home. The kids wanted to sleep in and watch a movie today, so that's what we're going to do. I'm trying to catch up on the DIS, and DH is still sleeping, too. I can already tell it's going to be a lazy day.

Lazy days are the best! This thread has gotten really slow. Those of us who were off during the summer have gone back to work and we dont' have as much time to DIS. I miss talking to everybody.

Lazy days are the best! This thread has gotten really slow. Those of us who were off during the summer have gone back to work and we dont' have as much time to DIS. I miss talking to everybody.

How is your job going?

I know what you mean. I miss those lazy summer days, too. My job is going great. I truly wish we could rake in enough money for me to stay home with the kids, but that's not an option right now. How's yours going? Are those kids keeping you straight?!

Bonnie! I was just looking at my birthday calendar and realized that you have a birthday coming up on September 13th! Any big plans?

I know what you mean. I miss those lazy summer days, too. My job is going great. I truly wish we could rake in enough money for me to stay home with the kids, but that's not an option right now. How's yours going? Are those kids keeping you straight?!

Girl, I don't like my job. I just have too many kids that do not behave. And last week they told me I'm getting 5 more. We have 20 kids in our class now (that's the max number allowed for 2 teachers) and I don't know how that's gonna work out. I'm not looking forward to it. I have already had to deal with a couple of pissy parents who just dont' want to hear that their child is acting up. Not pleasant. I should get a job like yours. I liked it when I was a secretary.

Yep, it's coming up! Nope, no big plans. We'll probably go out to dinner or something. Maybe at Rainforest Cafe! We used to go to the one in Vegas quite a bit, but we haven't been to the one in D.C. yet.
