I'd go with option number one but explain that next time listening will count for a much higher percentage of the grade and restate that when in doubt, please ask instead of not doing. Just what I would do...then again, I am a push over!

Yeah, that's what I did. I had told them repeatedly what their paper had to have, though, and that they couldn't turn it in just like the board.......it had to have four more "help"s on it. So, next week I'll talk to them all about it again and tell them next time there are none of their own thoughts on the page, it will be an F as that means they did no learning.

Mom's mother and brothers are with her. Dad called my dh to say she was out of surgery at about 2. That's all I've heard.

Found out today 5 of my reading group can't put letters in alphabetical order.........not words, LETTERS. When I asked them to sing the alphabet song to help them, they DIDN'T KNOW IT. It's gonna be a long year...............

I had pizza last night. Yum yum. Frozen pizza, but we added a bumch of stuff to make it yummy!
Any plans for the weekend? DBF has some friends coming up from Ohio so we're going to hang out with them tonight and saturday.

Today has been pretty laid back here (finally a day without running running running running). Tomorrow will be another day of crazy running...but without all of the running, we would get bored and life would be less fun!

I am having a lot of trouble waiting for our vacation! I feel like time is dragging on slowly (wish it would do that while I was on vacation)!!

Dinner last night was Greek beef kabobs (lemon zest...yum) with fresh grilled veggies.

Tonight I have a roast in the crock pot (with carrots and taters) and I will add some biscuts and call it a meal .

Nope DBF didn't want to go to Disney with me. Hes not a fan So I'm going with my mom-who is also a Disney nut! It runs in the family you know.

Last night I added lots more pepperoni (the frozen ones give you about 5), roasted garlic and taco flavor shredded cheese. It was really good!

Looks like a rainy weekend on the horizon. We have a big rainstorm going now, but luckily, no thunder/lightening. So far, looks like a stay-at-home weekend. What about you?

lots to do this weekend. Some of DBF's friends are coming up from Chicago for a "bachelor party" for one of the friends is getting married in 2 weeks (I don't get to go because I'll be returning from Disney that day.) They're coming in tonight and tomorrow will be a full day on the town. I'm still not quite sure whether I'm invited though. I'd be the only girl.. would that make you feel weird? Should I go along? I've hung out with them before and being the only girl doesn't bother me so much, but do you think they would have a problem? There aren't really any hardcore "guy" things planned

Sounds like fun. I'd go. I never feel "awkward" around guy things. I love hanging out with the boys. It must come from being the only female (except for the dog) in my family. Even the guinea pigs are male.

wow you were completely outnumbered! I don't think I would feel awkward, although I worry that maybe DBF's friends would. Well we're all going out for beer tonight so it'll be a good opportunity to test the waters I suppose. One of the things this friend has planned for his big day is afternoon tea at the four seasons. Sounds pretty great to me, but certainly not what I'd expect a guy to choose for his party away from the girls!!

Being a "party animal", I would go and hang out. You might even consider driving there, just in case it does get awkward or uncomfortable. You never know. This way, you can always take yourself shopping. :
