...I did a major dent in my Christmas shopping today...

...a little TOO 'major'...

:rolleyes1

I KNOW, I am never one of the first done! I didn't even really start until Black Friday, but I got a LOT done that day! DH already has his early, I got him a Keurig when it was the TSV on QVC, and gotta say, we are LOVING that thing! I don't drink coffee, but I do love tea, and their chai is quite nice, and the kids are loving the hot chocolate.

...my DS got me one last year for Christmas - OMG, I really LOVE mine...:thumbsup2

...I make

in mine.....YUMMY!!

Blueberry coffe, hmm? Interesting thought, I will mention that one. His came with the regular sampler box, plus 1 box of green mountain breakfast blend and 2 boxes of caribou coffee. Then he went out and got a box of Kona, I've heard the french toast coffee is really good too.

Shan, your Christmas list sounds rather large. I have of course my kids and dh, then both sets of parents, my nephew, Rick's 2 nephews, 2 neices and 1 great neice,& my friend's daughter. Which is plenty! I ordered this week the gifts for Rick's nephews, so now all that is left is my parents and the baby great neice.

...OMG, I am ridiculously addicted to it! I make iced blueberry coffee too, out of it.....:cloud9:

Donuts should only come in glazed and maple glazed. Surely I don't need to tell you that, Kristi! :yay:

ick...maple glazed...I love maple syrup, but I almost never like maple glaze on donuts, its always got a funny taste, at least around here. Maybe out east they are better... We like chocolate here, my dd's fave are devils food donuts with regular glaze, and second fave are cream filled bars with chocolate icing.

Nothing booked yet, but we are talking of going the first weekend in Nov for a meet with a bunch of the secret greens. We will likely go most of the week as a family, but the meet would be Friday-Sunday time frame. The only problem is that 2 of our 8 have husbands who have been laid off, which I know you can relate to..

How about you? Did your hubby find work? (Am I remembering right? ) Any trips up your sleeves? And how goes your christmas shopping?

Ack!!! That is EXACTLY why I prefer to avoid the malls & do most of my shopping online. Scary!

You ain't kiddin sister. It really is ridiculous how spoiled kids are these days. I love Christmas, but the expense is overwhelming, and I am really thrifty too. With all of those kids, doesn't matter how many sales you hit.

Blueberry coffee? That ain't normal.

Right. Not normal at all. And we, naturally, are the foremost experts on what is normal. Right?

...those are my ABSOLUTE FAVES!!! However, they are very hard to come by around these here parts...

I am with you, Shan. It is really crazy how expensive everything gets. I will give you my new cool Aunt tip for a gift, though, even though it might be late for you to use it... if you have tweens or teens with ipods, I got major brownie points for ordering them skinit skins for them. Both my 16 year old nephew and my 17 year old neice are very into Nightmare Before Christmas, and the 15 year old loves Twilight, but they have just about anything you can think of or you can send a picture and custom design one, they are only $15 each, basically a 3m sticker with all the cut outs, etc.

Hey, we're the normal ones! Shh!!!
