Well I waited and waited and no one noticed so I will spoil it and bring to your attention that I have once again reached 4,000 posts.

4,000 POSTS for the SQUID!!!

And so how many times NOW have you reached 4,000 posts????

Yay me!!!!! Ok this is only the 2nd time I have hit 4,000. Last time I made it to about 4,980 before the thread got deleted and I went back down to about 1,250 posts. I guess that is one good thing about them not allowing super long threads that go on forever anymore - if they get mad and delete a thread you only lose a few hundred posts instead of a few thousand! Not that I would ever do anything to make anyone made at me. ;) :rolleyes1 :cloud9: :lmao:

Cute kid story coming up. Feel free to skim or skip.

Got this e-mail from her preschool teacher today within minutes of her coming home from preschool:

We are learning the letter "Ll" this week. Every time we learn a new letter, we glue something to that letter. We were getting ready for that today when I picked up a piece of lace and asked:

Me:"Does anyone know what this is called?"
Norah: "B00b stuff?"
Me:"That's close, it's called l-l-lace.
Can you say that with me?
l-l-lace."

:rotfl2:

I can't imagine where she gets this stuff from!

1. Perhaps we shouldnt be discussing my undergarments.

2. duh

3. oh so i get to thank LISA for that.:sad2: actually i remember the night you popped in. lisa was very proud of herself for rounding up some fresh meat. i may have actually told her "good job". if i had only known.....
1. Probably not.

3. You didn't finish the sentence! The full sentence should have been, "If I had only known how lucky we all were that Lisa brought Rob to us and all of the CB".

Morning everyone! First time since last Tuesday night that I actually slept for more than 2 hours at a time. It felt so good! Hopefully, I can get rid of the rest of these annoying little belly pains left over from the surgery and feel like normal again in the next day or two.
Good to hear Kathi! Keep healing!

We both were the angels on that (make it "those") threads E. Lisa did round up some "fresh" meat. Rob has been known to be "fresh" now and then. :rolleyes1

I hope you start feeling better soon Kathi! In the meantime, if you need some comical relief....

well I'm sure there are some other threads around here that can provide it!
1. :confused3 :rolleyes1

2. :rotfl2: Good one.

Hi, Robbie, LBelle, Kim, E, Wendy, Kar, Shan, Claudia....anyone else I might have missed...
Hi Kristi!

But but....

I quoted you!!! The hello is implied in the quote!
;)
I agree Kristi.

Well I waited and waited and no one noticed so I will spoil it and bring to your attention that I have once again reached 4,000 posts.
SOME of us had to do real work this morning! Congratulations Squidster!

I was going to say: Is this a cute kid's story or a story about your parenting? :rotfl2: Too funny. And I can't imagine either. No, really.

I better get posting. I wanna be in the top 10.

How accurate are these stats?

I think I've posted WAYYY more than my Bff.

I demand a re-count. A total re-do. A by-hand calculation. Do hanging chads count? This is an outrage!

Huh-rummpHffft!

( I don't want to deprive anyone of your wit and charm.)
1. Very. They are calculated by the same DIS Super Computer that runs the highly accurate DIS clock.

2. Your BFF may have had a small head start, you know.

3. I hope you ALL took note of that. :3dglasses

Wow, that's funny! I see she has inherited your interest in women's unmentionables...

Wow, where are all the chatters today?!? I can't believe how quiet it is!
Are you all getting an early start on the weekend or something??

I can't imagine either.....:rolleyes1 However, you should know that you are not alone when it comes to kids saying things in school that were better left at home....
Wow, mine too. Catie once went to school and told the teacher that her dad "kicked the dog down the steps" when really Lucky was on the steps when Rick was coming down and he accidently bumped him (easy to do since lucky likes being right up against you when you are walking up and down the steps).:confused3

So I started a new thread, did ya see it?? My sister sent it to me via email, I thought it was REALLY funny, then she said I should share it with all my crazy internet friends. :lmao:

Let's just say our worst had to do with DH, youngest son, the celebration of Kwaanza, and a banana boat. :rolleyes1 DS repeated word-for-word DH's dinner table comment the next day in class while they were discussing the celebration of Kwaanza.

Work, work, work these days. One part of me is thinking I'm now DISing too little and one part thinks I am still DISing too much (if that makes any sense).
