It was amazing!!!! I posted pictures on my FB page. The one of K and my nephew Blake sleeping is my favorite.

Thanks, Bon! I know, I love it at Christmastime, and I love that we are the week AFTER Pop Warner so it shouldn't be TOO busy at the resorts, etc. I figure this is the last time for Christmas, Meagan is in 7th grade this year, so will be in high school by the next trip most likely, and I can't justify pulling her out of school at that point. So this time, I am going to enjoy it while I can! We're doing dxddp, so we can try out more restaurants, and staying at FQ for the first time. We are SO excited.

...yeah, but going to MK [especially] didn't feel like I was even THERE! (picture this: last day of vaca, arriving at MK around 6PM FOR THE FIRST TIME DURING THE ENTIRE TRIP!, going on the Wedway People-Mover, HM, catching the tail-end [barely] of the parade, SQUEEEEEZING through the mad throngs of folks to get back to the train station, standing at the top there and watching the fireworks, then finally skee-daddling outta there does NOT make for a memorable MK trip...)

You're right, Kim, that doesn't sound like much of MK! We are going to MK on our first full day, but we aren't getting MVMCP tickets, so will be a short day. I am also going the MK on our last full day for the morning, though, and to a meet at the Aloha Isles stand at 1pm that day, after which we'll head to DTD for our late lunch and shopping before we leave.

Wow, did everyone leave? Here I've been on the DIS more than ever and couldn't even FIND this thread! What's up, all?

As you can see, we are planning a second trip to follow the one next month. My friend T is going in May as are a couple other friends, and I commented on how nice that would be, so she triple dared me to book; just so happens she caught me at the right time, we're surprising my kids with the trip for Catie's birthday.
