Rella! I'm so sorry about your fridge.
smiley_consoling.gif
I hope everything works out for you! You are such a nice person and we love you!

Ok, we finally have a plan for the day. DD10 is going to her friends' house to spend the day and night. I'm taking DD13 and DD6 to see the Bratz movie. Yay! An indoor activity! Much better than a hot day at an amusement park!

Aww, I'm sorry Rella! That bites. We had a run like that last year. We had to replace our washing machine and dishwasher. And the central air unit quit on us 2x. We have 2, one for each floor, and they told us not to expect either of them to last many more years, and to start looking at replacing them. Sure, I'll just pull $20,000 out of my hat. :sad2: I'm not convinced that $20,000 is a correct estimate though, methinks he was trying to be a salesman.

Well, I have good news about the job situation. I emailed my boss last night, and told her that I would begin looking for a new job. She started backpeddling and said that she would back me up since I did what I was supposed to do, and it wasn't my fault. Earlier in the day, she was looking for someone to blame, and was trying to fault me for not keeping up with a paper that someone else was supposed to have generated. Hello? I get 20 papers a day in my inbox. No way am I gonna be able to keep up with my job and someone else's too. But I mailed off 6 applications to the state this morning. It's a long process where you have to take a test and be put on a register before you can even be considered for a position, but I'm going to follow through with it and try to go back to child welfare. It's a sucky job, but I felt like I was good at it, and I shouldn't have difficulty getting a job with my experience. So, no lounging around collecting unemployment for me. Dammit! And maybe 6 was a little overkill, but hey, that's 6x the job opportunities, right? :teeth:

I am also feeling somewhat better today, so that's an excellent thing! I'm just tired of being negative. My health sucks, my job sucks, my family sucks, whine whine whine lol. I don't know how people are happy being miserable. I don't like me when I'm whiney. :confused3

I hope everyone has a fabulous day! It's hot here too Bon. 95 already, and the hottest part of the day isn't for about 5 more hours! Heat is tough on fat people. I went beyond being "dewy" an hour ago. I'm sweatin like a ho in church out there! Keep cool everyone, and I'll chat with you tonight. :grouphug:

Sorry everything sucks Stephers! You know we love you though. AND - at least you still have your sense of humor. The above sentences have me laughing my huge buttinsky off! :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Oops - nevermind - I lied! Just checked and it is still there! Darn it!

So anyway, T and I are on MSN all by ourselves today because none of our rude chatters are here and we were thinking about how much fun a cruise meet would be. Actually we were thinking about how much fun it would be to make shirts for a cruise meet. How about the following sayings: Hags Ahoy, Hags Afloat or Hags Overboard. Any others????

Hi Squiddy! thanks so much for the hag tribute! It had me LMAO :rotfl2: and I totally needed a laugh!

Stephie-I'm so sorry life sucks right now. It'll get better soon. How can they fire you based on something that wasn't your fault?? That is so not right. But if they are going to be horrid and petty maybe you should find a better place to work anyway..and maybe you'll like it a whole lot more!  hang in there sweetie!

Rella-so sorry about the fridge. That has to be frustrating. I know I would be like GRRR! But your new fridge will be awesome and all will envy you!

Bon-sounds like you made a good change of plans going to the movie instead of the amusement park. 110 degrees does not a happy day make. Save that trip for cooler less crabby potential days.

Hello to all my other lovely chatter friends. A cruise meet would be uber cool-All Hags on Deck!

Oh Rella...that rots the big one. So sorry about your fridge. I bet that was a very unpleasant surprise. :scared: GRRRR refrigerators. If you go looking for one, check a place like Home Depot or Lowe's...they sometimes have floor models that they try to get out of there for a very reduced price once they are done displaying them. GOOD LUCK ON THE FRIDGE REPLACEMENT QUEST!!

Steph...I am here for ya. MSN chickadee! I would offer you a hug, but I figure that you don't want to have my glistening combo with your shine. HA HA HA ;) The heat index is over 100* here today. By Thursday the heat index is supposed to be above 110* and the actual temp will be about 104*!!

Six is not a lot. It's the perfect amount...thus why you did it! :) You are smarter then you give yourself credit for. Just enough to keep on top of and hopefully get multiple offers to pick the best one. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you (so does the baby:lmao: ).

Oh and on the topic of you being wise, Rella and I have something to teach you! ;)

I hope you are feeling better allergy wise. Forget about the rest and retreat to the world of MSN!!:flower3:
