Well ya ain't seein' me today! Boss lady gave me the boot in the butt routine. So I'm gonna fix my sick DH all up and go out shopping. DH might take a hot steamy shower to feel better and then he might go with me. I am THRILLED to have this surprise shopping day. This time of year is fabulous at work because we always have a lot of students out for vacation. So it is easy to get extra time off if we want it. She asked me if I wanted to take the week between Christmas and New Year's off too. So of course I said yes!

Will you be gone that whole week, Shannon?

1st, hope DH feels better!
2nd- I'm shopping today too-- best time of day to be anywhere NEAR the mall!
3rd-- I'm leaving for Dayton the 29th. I am SO not excited, especially since DM called yesterday and told me how depressed she is. Good times!

What's new with you? I have a chest cold that has given me this very low, sexy man voice. Ok, maybe I'm the only one who thinks its sexy. I think I am Lou Rawls right now except that when I start singing, my coworkers scream and run away. Hmmmm, I don't understand that.

Hey, Bon you still here?

I got DH a throwback Barry Sanders jersey for christmas from ebay. It retails for $300 and I got it for $60.

The best thing was that it was a little dirty and tattered when it came (It was supposed to be new with tags) so I complained to the seller and they gave me $40 back!!! I asked just for the shipping cost, but I ended up paying only $20 for a $300 jersey that he's been asking for as long as I've known him.

So now I need to get him something else too...lol

DH got me Mammoth Crocs and a video game I've had my eye on for a while. He also said he has one more little thing to actually give me on Christmas.

I bought the Crocs online myself and didn't want to wait to wear them. And he promised me he wouldn't buy me a video game this year (he does every year) and so when he brought it home, he actually gave it to me since he thought I would be mad! He's too funny.

Well, I told DH that I wanted my airfare for Feb for Christmas and I already got that. I'm also getting a Roxy travel bag I've been wanting, and hoping to get some skin care dookey from Sephora, some perfume and perfumed shower gel, and hopefully some clothes!

Greetings! Just back from a meal at Carrabba's (neener neener, Shannon). Brent and I got free sirloin marsala because they kept messing up our order. We were fine, we sure didn't complain or anything, but they offered so of course we said okay!

Tonight Brent and I have to take out the kids' christmas loot and compare how much each child got, so we know how much more we need to buy. Pain in the booty, I say! I plan on doing a little wrapping, also. Cause who likes to be stuck doing it all on Christmas Eve?

This reminds me that my DS9 and DS11 told me that there is a belly dancing class at the community center that they practice basketball at (on the night they practice obviously) but they also said that the women taking that class are NOT women you want to see belly dancing. Obviously, they are not seeing Shannon's class.

I'll be running around maniacally trying to buy last minute gifts (ones thrown on me last minute, not ones I've forgotten to get), and baking cupcakes for Reece's class "Winter Break Celebration." How's THAT for PC?

Gotta clean the guest room too-- DBIL flies in from Seattle tomorrow. His request: find him a girl. (He just got back from Iraq and is...lonely ) I don't think I can help him out w/ his request. My "girl finding" skills are a little rusty! And no way am I letting DH loose with that one!

Well good morning everyone! Thankfully I was granted a reprieve last night because I have been sick. I think dh doesn't want to catch it. I am in such a fabulous mood today. BonJour (my boss) is gone for the holiday to France and I only have 2 more days of work until Christmas break! Whoo Hoo. I love the end of the year shut-down.

What is everyone else's plan for the day? I plan on studying the game of solitaire...
