Hi my wonderful Chatter Friends! I just wanted to take a minute and let you all know, my dad lost his battle with cancer today. He was 82 years old, and today was actually my parents 52nd wedding anniversary. My daddy lived a wonderful life. He was a Methodist Minister and was still preaching in 2 churches every Sunday up until he was diagnosed with cancer back on July 13. Please keep my mom in your prayers as she begins to face her life without her life partner, my dad was such a rock for all of us and we are certainly moving into a difficult time. Thanks for all the prayers that you have already said for him and my family, please continue to pray that we all find peace in this.

Thanks so much for the bday wishes! (Rob-- I know you're probably kidding, but I did like seeing "24" instead of.... "31!" Of course, I prefer to say "twenty-eleven." Has a much better ring to it, no? Anyway, keep up that flattery my friend !!!)

I had a nice, relaxing day. I already opened my presents last week (DH brought them home & NO WAY was I letting a giant box from the Coach store go unopened!!!) DH & DS 3 (Riley) stayed home with me, and we ate lunch out, & I got to take a nap with Riley. Woke up to find a really cute flower arrangement from my mom had been delivered-- looks like a cake. That was really nice (and out of character) of her!

Went to a class at the gym at 5:30, got carry-out from Carrabba's on my way home, and came home to find the guys had baked me cupcakes! Riley had chocolate all over himself, and there are sprinkles all over my kitchen, so I know he really did help!

That nap threw me off, which is why I'm up late, but I'd better be gettin' to bed.

BonMonster - sorry I missed you - sent a PM you big hag. Are you counting down? On Sunday the Bon will be at WDW and not only that - she will be staying in a fabulous 1 Bedroom at SSR - a beautiful resort!

Hi chatters! I went to work today but after running down the hall gagging (on my way to puke in the bathroom), the boss sent me home. I wanted to stay, cause I need the hours for my christmas fund! Oh well...I enjoy being home a lot more! Plus my tummy really does hurt. Not enough to stop me from eating Five Guys though!

Mary, I'm really sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. It's such a hard thing to lose a parent.

Good evening all! After spending 2 hours raking leaves this afternoon, I got suckered in to taking a belly dancing class at a local gym. I thought "How hard could it be?"

*cue the violin please*

I am so not going to be able to move tomorrow. I can feel my shoulders seizing up as I type this! I may be forced to take Riley to the dentist wearing my pj's. I think changing my clothes may be beyond the realm of possibility in about 8 hours.
