Good morning all!

how could anyone be happy it's Monday?:confused3

unless of course you're coming into big money. :dance3:

I'm thinking if I try to trick myself, and be cheerful on Monday, then maybe it will just blow by and be Tuesday before I know it.:goodvibes :rotfl:

Hi Joanne. Did you get all put together for you dinner with friends? :rolleyes1

Elisabeth that's a really good outlook you have. :thumbsup2

No big money for me, thanks Joanne, now I'm depressed.:sad1:

Seriously though, I gotta run. Be back later!!!

Yes, i put on a nicer shirt.

On weekends I really don't like dressing up of any kind. :rotfl:

How was your weekend?

Saturday I took Kelsie shopping for bathing suits. I don't know if they are out yet up north but down here we are in full summer gear in all the stores. Can they possibly make them any smaller? Anyway she found one at American Eagle so that chore is done. I know it's early but she claims they get too picked over if you wait. :confused3

What did you have for dinner at your friends house?

Good morning. :grouphug:

I left the house 10 min. early. Forgot my migraine meds and had to turn around........by the time I was back out of my driveway, it was right on time. BUT it was foggy and rainy, which means, of course, that for some reason no one's wheels are able to turn as fast as usual, and traffic backs up.

THEN there was an accident at one of the intersections I have to go through and IT was backed up.......and in fact, when the light turned green for me to go, two more cars came through, right between the wrecked cars with the cop working the accident there......good thing I was being uncharacteristically cautious.

THEN I did NOT beat the train.

THEN I had to call Vero that I wasn't going to be here to open up the room.

THEN when I got here no one was parking, just going through the circle but each car takes 20 min for each kid to finish their toast w/jelly, stuff things back in their backpack that mom just now signed, put their hood on because it's raining and we just noticed, get out of the car without kissing mommy, get backin the car because mommy says "where's my kiss?", kiss mommy, get last minute instructions about how to handle something that went on last week if it happens again, slam the door, door doesn't close, slam it again, door doesn't close, mom comes out, seatbelt is caught in door, mom moves seatbelt, closes door, kid goes into school, mom gets back in car, but dials friend or whoever, then puts on her seatbelt one-handed, then drives away..............then we do it again with the next car.

I have to wait until enough of this happens that I can get through the circle far enough to get to the umpteen empty bazillion parking spots that no one is parking in.

THEN I am too late for breakfast and have to eat the leftover saltines from my salads, and I only have one package. For some reason this morning I am uncharacteristically STARVING and four crackers is going to have to see me through to 11:45.

AND I will be needing to go to the ladies room every hour all day which will be lovely beyond words because my kids are angels when I am with them, and lose it completely if I ask the teacher next door to watch them while I leave the room.

BUT I do have my coke. So it's all good. There's always a silver lining. Well, that's what I've heard anyway. :confused3
