That too! The orthodontists are not any better. Took my lil one in today ...first phase is $3,000...UGH. Our dental doesnt cover any ortho work.

My big one needs the ortho..........we have to wait until the small one is done with childcare to afford it. Who knew kids cost so darn much????

My big one needs the ortho..........we have to wait until the small one is done with childcare to afford it. Who knew kids cost so darn much????

Yeah, we are going to wait until after dh surgery to begin ortho treatments. Our deductible for the surgery is $5,000. so we really are watching our $.

We already know DS is going to need braces too. It sure does cost a small fortune doesn't it?

Sorry to hear about all the expensive surgeries and doctors visits. My parents were lucky my brother and I never needed braces or any other major dental procedures.

We have completely given up paying dr./hospital bills. We just send in what is left over after we pay everything else. What else can you do?

My brother had to have braces...........but with me they said it would be only cosmetic, and my mom asked me if I wanted to.........I said no. He was in pain. I didn't want to have to go through that. So I just have big front teeth...........like Laura Ingalls!!!!!!!

Especially when they don't wear the retainer properly when the braces come off.
