The only thing is, depending on cost, I may have to stay DVC in order to convince my husband about me going.

Well, I will volunteer myself to be your roomate at DVC. Someone has to do it....it may as well be me!

We were talking about getting suites at ASMu and having roomates to share the cost. AND, we were talking about doing a weekend trip!

Yes, we own DVC...and if we go in the time period you guys have been talking about I can stay for very little points.


Weekend is perfect...I know I sound corny, but I don't think I would want to be away from family for much longer.

Do you think that it wouldn't work out if I stayed somewhere else? I guess if we find out the cost, I could see.

Ohhh, a meet would be so awesome, words cannot describe.

I wouldn't go longer than 3 days tops, either. I can't stand to be away from DH or DS for long. I've actually never spent any time away from them EXCEPT one night when we had a huge flood and the roads got shut down. I had to stay at my cousin's and almost had a nervous breakdown.

That's what I was thinking...three days. The longest I have been away from my son is overnight.

I think you have a very sarcastic sense of humor! I LOVE it....I'm pretty much the same way. I am always cracking jokes and saying dumb stuff.

No never a problem, as I read DIS MEETS allot on the DIS for WDW meets, many stay all over the WORLD and then they have schedule times everyone is meeting to see the Parks or Meals...you know...never a problem. Stay where your budget allows.

And btw: Ladies, I think my kids were 3yo and 7yo, when I moved back to Boston where I grew up. And I had all my friends here. I had moved away when DS #1 was 2yo. So the girls and I started going away to Cape Cod for a girl's weekend....LET ME TELL YOU, it is awesome. You just have so much time to sit around, drink wine, eat, sleep, talk, bond w/o the kiddos. We loved it so so much we go 2x a year, of course the boys are all grown and out of the house, but those away weekend (even though far and few) gives you a little break from RL and all the demands made on Mom on a regular basis. We would get so BLUE by Sunday but HAPPY when we would plan the next time we would go!!

Jay mentioned bringing her whole family, which would be absolutely fine if ALL did that, we would have our GIRL'S DIS MEET and Jay even said she would have no problem getting away to meet us all.
