Ahhhh....I think it is that time of year...with Christmas Cheer in the AIR...everyone is so excited, hustling and bustling to get their shopping done. Boston was so festive this weekend. The sights and sounds, just so exciting. I just CHRISTMAS-TIME!!

I put gift wrap in the door way so he can't see in the living room. He has to bust through it like a football player to even get near the presents. I'm hoping to sneak downstairs and get the french toast into the oven before he wakes up.

Trisha, I received that TOTE from Lands End on Thursday and although I do like it as a TOTE, the straps do NOT fit comfortably over my shoulder with my coat...the straps are just too short...I was so bummed out because it is FAB quality and the tote is a great size but I want to be able to put this UP ON MY SHOULDER all the time....you know...

It was fine when wearing just like a sweatshirt but with my winter coat...nope

We put huge carrot sticks on the front porch for the reindeer on Christmas Ever. Well, neither DH nor I like carrots, so my sister and her friend come down every year and gnaw on them.

If you sit quietly in my living room on Christmas Eve, you can hear the sounds of girls snorting, spitting carrots everywhere, snorting even more and falling off of our porch in laughter. They yelled at me last year because the carrots were starting to freeze before they ate them. Ahhhhhh.....the sounds of Christmas.

Drew wakes up on Christmas morning to find that the reindeer have eaten the carrots like corn on the cob. It is a riot.

I didn't even think of that problem, Kar! You're right, the straps would be too short with a coat. That stinks.....well, guess you still have to keep it and use it in the spring, right??

That is WILD, traditions that families have are so awesome!!!

I know every year I made DH eat HALF or 5 OREOS and drink half a glass of milk every year.....he never had a problem with THAT request at midnight...

OMG....Drew just came downstairs and said, "Can I have more Frosty the Snowman orange juice??". He's talking about that frosty oj that I made earlier. I think it has a new name.
